Only gave it 4 stars because the door needs to be pressed in at the bottom, with your foot, to close. This is easy to do but distracts a little from the ease of operation. Other than that its great, arrived 2 days early, no damage from shipment everything worked as is should have. I thought the organizer for an extra $50 was a pretty good idea, it fits great but 2 of the pistol holders were a little big at the bottom and the gun would slide out. I took some strong twine and a big needle and stitched them up a little now they are fine.
I was surprised at how well built this safe is. Much more study than I figured it would be. This product is not cheaply made. Mounted in a small closet, bolted to the wall and floor, it will be hard for someone to rip apart in a timely manner while the house alarm is blaring and the alarm monitoring is calling the local police.
I was looking for a first safe for a rifle and a few handguns, and took a chance on this one, and am glad I did! It is thinner in dimensions than a lot of other safes out there, which is what I needed as I didnt have a shed or a lot of garage space to store it - and it fits in a closet perfectly! The locking mechanism is tough - three large bolt on the side of door and another on the top - yes, you could break into it with a blowtorch but as a general theft deterrent and keeping the kids away, it works great! The keypad is easy to use and program, and it comes with backup keys for the door and for the lockbox on the inside. As you can see from the pics, you can also customize the safe to suit your liking - I put carpet into mine and installed some shelves and a motion detecting light to allow me to see whats inside easier. Even if you left the safe exactly as it comes, you wont be disappointed! Would definitely buy again.

Holds my Mossberg 500 and AR...could hold two more long guns, but not much more. Was hoping to put ammo cans inside, wont fit. But it does keep my guns safe and locked up so Im satisfied. It was packed extremely well. But even the solid, full length edge protectors and plastic corners, could not save it from a small dented top corner. I want planning to return it, no biggie, and my ammo cans sit on top. Seems well made for the price...Im satisfied. I put in a small rechargeable magnetic light inside.
Great product for storing a few rifles. Bought it to keep my rifle locked away without worrying about people stumbling on it. I drilled it into the drywall in my closet with a few studs, mostly to keep it sturdy so it wont tip over.
Plenty of space for 4 rifles, 5 might be tight but definitely doable. Id recommend also getting a magnetic shelf (think sells them as magnetic spice racks) to store magazines. The upper locking box is perfect for keeping ammunition.
As other reviews have stated, the foam for racking barrels sits a little high (my AR just barely reaches it with the stock fully extended). I plan on making a small shelf at the bottom from some plywood to raise the guns up a bit and give me more space to store eye and ear protection.
Overall a great product for a simple, quality safe that keeps your firearms out of others hands. Toss a motion sensor light and dehumidifier and youve got a full setup.
Also, the service is great. Alan responded within a day and is sending me a door organizer for just registering with the warranty. Very satisfied.
I was in the market a few months ago for a safe that could accommodate a few long firearms and some accessories. I decided on this safe and am not disappointed in my choice. It does the job well for my purposes.
I took the advice of another reviewer and purchased two ALPHYSE Magnetic Spice Racks for some additional quick access storage space, one inside the safe and one on the outside.
My only complaint is how front-heavy the safe is. I have to be careful when opening it to ensure it doesnt fall over, but this is the case with virtually any safe that you arent bolting down.
Lastly, the customer service is A+. Alan reached out to me via email to see how I liked the safe, and he offered me a door panel organizer free of charge, which I took him up on.
