Umbrella worked well for about a month. And then the string to make the umbrella go up and down snapped and the umbrella will no longer go up and more. The string snapped and went down inside the pole and the umbrella is. I longer usable after a month.
The top of the umbrella twists off and youll need to connect the wire to the LED for it to work, it comes NOT connected. Works great! A very nice large umbrella for the price!
My biggest concern is that the packaging shouldve been different. The solar panel was already attached and it probably should be in separate packaging or at least protected by something like styrofoam. The umbrella was top/heavy as I pulled it out of the box and the top hit the floor cracking solar panel. It still works but the panel is so easily removed and attached there would have been much less risk by packing it individually. It would have been worth another couple of extra dollars for the protection.
I like the umbrella. Works well for the price. Based on many umbrella with LED lights reviews I have read I didnt expect them to work but was hoping they would. I didnt buy the umbrella for the lights but the price and availability is what I was looking for and the LED lights would have been a bonus. I still have hope that maybe after a few more days in the sun they will start working. Many other LED umbrellas with lights are 5 times the price.
Just got this in light blue. Very large and very nice. Poll is metal not aluminum . Cranks up easy. Solar lights are also very nice. Remember to unscrew top cap and plug in wire pug. We shall see how it does. I might buy another in orange p.

Had this umbrella for 3 months. Best Choice states that it wont fade. Not true! Brilliant red when arrived, now fading to dull red with streaks

I love this umbrella. The lights offer just enough illumination to allow you to see at night without attracting bugs. The color is great.
