We have had a market umbrella that is large enough to cover our table and deck for years. Problem is that one has to stand on a chair to hoist it open and pull the rope. Found this umbrella and like it not only for the size but the ease of opening and closing. The added light feature is fun. Chose a dark color to make sure there is better sun protection. It may not be as pretty as my market umbrella but it does the job nicely and safely. The negative I have is that we had a gust of wind come suddenly and one of the pockets where a spoke lies in ripped open. I used heavy coat thread to re sew the pocket and have not had a problem since. The frame seems sturdy enough and time will tell how the material holds up year after year. I wish the material was a bit heavier.
Very large, very sturdy, very solid, and a very Nice price. Umbrella cranks reliably. Umbrella tilts so effectively. Bought two to our on opposite corners of a round low table and four chairs. And it covers the angle of the sun so nicely. Love the legend black.

A must for a sunny deck
