I bought the queen/sized square stitched version of this bed frame, and it is really great for a first bed frame. It came packaged well. The only manufacturing defect of ours was that some of the wooden slates werent aligned on the velcro, so some ended up diagonal and not parallel to each other, but it still managed to fit within the frame. Nothing has broken yet, which is a good sign. We put a Tuft Needle mattress on top of it//fits perfectly.
Im extremely pleased with this purchase. Not quite 5 stars due to the slight defect in the frame I received. Very Sturdy product.
The bed was very easy to assemble. It look very nice and am very happy with how sturdy it is as well. The fact that there is plenty of space underneath to store sweater boxes is a HUGE plus as well. yes we like it.
Three Stars. Sturdy bed, looks good. Smells like something crawled in it and died. Please tell me what to do, this smell is horrible and it makes me want to vomit. I have guests coming in two days and I dont my new apartment smelling like a pile of dead animals covered in poop.
We have now had this bed frame for 2 months, and still holding up great! It looks absolutely fantastic, its very sturdy, and easy to put together. The fabric is soft, and its the perfect size. No complaints here, 5 stars! My son loves it!!
Slept on it one night, so far so good! Assembly was pretty easy, as one reviewer noted sometimes the sides of the bed arent exactly the same height so I put a few pieces of double sided tape to level it out, but you could use anything probably (or nothing, Im not sure if it even makes a difference). As an important note, MY GREY BEDFRAME DOES NOT HAVE PURPLE HUES OR ANYTHING because that was one thing I was worried about after reading other reviews. Mine is totally manly grey. Very well made.
Like most of you, I had reservations about ordering a bed online. But like most of the other owners of this bed, Im so happy that I did. I ordered the button tufted queen size bed frame just in time before they sold out and Lord am I glad I nabbed it in time! I live in a tiny apartment off of my university campus and was worried about how I was going to lug a giant box up 6 floors with no male help (I mean, Im a strong, independent, Asian woman who dont need no man, but I aint THAT strong)! Well no worries there because a day before the estimated delivery date, FedEx plopped it right outside my door (bravo FedEx guy). I was also worried that since I was getting one of the last batches of this product, parts of it would be missing or possibly defective. Again, this bed proved me wrong. Everything came tightly packed inside the headboard and nothing seemed missing or out of place. The headboard is beautiful. I love the color and how its fabric instead of nasty faux leather (ew).
Assembly was relatively easy, but like others have mentioned, the pictures are a mess. I could have put together the bed by myself but, luckily, my roommate came home and decided to help after she saw me struggling with dragging a giant box across our living room. Unfortunately for her, I ended up letting her do all the work (whoops, sorry Shannon ;p), which again, really wasnt that much work at all. It only took us 30/45 min to put it together.
I have a 10 tuft and needle mattress on it now and theres still a lot of headboard left to see after adding the comforter and pillows. Bed doesnt budge, looks so beautiful, and is 100000000 worth every penny. Even my MOTHER agrees Ive made a good decision on this bed (and trust me that lady is VERY hard the please dragonladiesunite). This is the bed that if I were Oprah Winfrey I would buy everyone one!!
Hopefully it comes back in stock for all of you sorry suckers who missed out on the queen size button tufted bed frame. Im sure the other colors are just as nice though Worth the price !!!
Bed was delivered in one piece. Assembling was a piece of cake. It took my 10 minutes to assemble this bed. If you have a drill machine, itll save you a lot of time. For the price I paid, It looks aming. Super.
Ordered this bed, finally got it after a week (shipping penalty for not being a Prime member) and there was a giant staple sticking out of the side of the headboard. It couldnt be pushed back under the fabric as it was aiming the total opposite way it should have been. Packed it back up and dragged it outside, which was the opposite of fun. Got to pick it up and deliver another, but had to wait another week+ so I was sleeping without a bed for a week (wasnt going to put the old one back together).
Finally get the replacement and there are no sharp things sticking out. Good sign. Flip the headboard over and begin removing the pieces from the zippered back. Great flat pack design, though this leaves the headboard to be made from very thin plywood under the padding. So thin the thing wobbles and creaks as youre putting it together. I was afraid it was going to crack putting it together.
Fully assembled in one hour and surprisingly sturdy frame. I like the 6/leg construction. Lots of middle support as you use this without a box spring. Screwing one leg in, the threaded female end was loose from the surrounding wood. I was about to gorilla glue it in but I was able to hold it in place with a wrench and get the leg nice and tight in it.
Leaning back on the headboard, I can occasionally feel it give in as Im only leaning against padded plywood. I only weigh 150lbs. I would not put all my weight against this as Im sure it would break one day.
Sleeping on it is a dream. The frame not counting the headboard is solid and quiet. The slats have Velcro and are all connected so they will never move.
Build quality 3/5 stars. Returning the defective one was a huge hassle. Wouldnt give my son this bed because he would crack the headboard in half.
Looks 5/5 stars. Like a mid/century piece from Mad Men. Dont go wild on it or reinforce the back of the headboard with more wood and youre fine. Very pleased!
