I needed a bed for a small room newly converted to a guess room in a hurry. The item is sturdy was easy to assemble and was a perfect remedy for what was needed. Pared with the mattress found to fit it the total price was surprising less than what I thought I was going to be paying.
A great product. Easy to assemble, but as solid as a brick outhouse! Very nicely designed and engineered with no unnecessary BS that made assembly tougher.
One thing I especially appreciated was the design of the cross dowels. Typically, those are very tough to work with on any assembly, and take lots of time and care - and they still end up being frustrating! - but however theyve accomplished it, the dowels went in nice and easy with no muss or fuss at all. That was definitely the key to a quick and painless process.
This frame replaced another 20 year old wooden platform from and the difference is dramatic. That frame was solid and is still okay, but the difference between the two is like the difference between an old 74 VW Beetle I owned and my brand-new Subaru Forester.
I did not put a finish on the wood - it is attractive bare - but I may do so eventually.
I just ordered the drawers and will probably end up buying the trundle.

I ordered this bed frame for my grandkids. I love the fact that it is raw wood and not full of chemicals. Yes, you could paint or stain, but I plan on leaving it just the way it is. I put it together myself 8 weeks after having rotator cuff surgery and I am a 60 something grandma. Super easy. I was able to carry it upstairs in pieces and assembled it upstairs. I have just ordered a second one because I think that highly of it. It is simple, sturdy and I had every piece I needed to put together. This is simple to put together. It reminds me of a good old-fashioned bed frame from when I was growing up. Comes in a box about 6 1/2 feet long and about a foot wide. Was delivered quickly and efficiently. Recommended to my son for his house, too. Cant wait for the second one to arrive!
This is probably the best twin bed youre going to find. Easy to put together and the quality is so nice. All of it is made of 100% real wood and not the cheap kind either. Should last a very long time. However there are some things you should know. You probably need a power sander to clean up the edges. 90% of the wood is sanded except the ends. For me it was no big deal, I just took my power sander and ran it across the ends of every board real quick. If you decide to not sand you will probably be OK since most of the ends are hidden but you may get a splinter while putting it together. Also, Yes - the bed does squeak a little. This cant really be avoided since its wood rubbing on wood. Not a bed you want to be using if theres going to be a lot of motions on it. I got the twin xl, the slats are sturdy but I would not recommend for anyone over 200 pounds because the twin doesnt have a support beam down the middle.
Love this frame. Sturdy. Has held up for months. Light enough to scoot around the room if you want. Height great for under bed storage. Nice light wood adds a natural brightness to my bedroom and decor. No complaints!
