The bed itself is really beautiful but much of the wood is unfinished (especially the wood slats) so handling the wood is a little risk heavy for splinters and cuts. The directions also stipulate the use of a screwdriver to secure the frame and wood slats, but there are no pre/drilled holes so its basically impossible to do this without a drill.
I love this bedroom furniture! Everything was perfect one of those delivered! I think the drawers are huge I can fit a lot in there and its very well/made
This product is high quality with no particle board. The Bed was easy to put together by flowwing the step by step instructions. The drawers / 2 on each side are perfect! We use thi in our Guest Suite!

This bed frame was relatively easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I need to mention that it is VERY heavy and could not be assembled or carried by one person alone, unless that person is strong and tall. The headboard is one piece and probably weighs 40 pounds. It looks exactly as pictured in the listing and appears to be made of real wood.
