This is a great solid bed and its good looking. Its not a beautiful statement bed but it doesnt look cheap and it has a nice clean look. Its a little lower than regular bed but I love the height. The assembly was quite easy especially because the drawers come pre/assembled.
The only negatives I see is that the new bed smell lingers for a while. After 4 days, I still smell it faintly. Also, they could have made the drawers bigger especially for the king size but its an okay size.
I have a tempur/pedic mattress and the slats are about 3 wide and I ended up getting a 5mm ply wood board from Lowes for 35 or so. Lowes cut it to my measurement, which saved lots of work.
The height of slates is only 11 inches from ground.
The product advertises it as 14 inches, which is incorrect. The total height is 14 inches. But if I measure to the top of slates (on which mattress sits) is only 11 inches.
It seems sturdy for normal use, but not heavy jumping of kids.
This bed is very well made, and yes its real wood. Assembly is fairly easy, but its definitely a 2 man job and youre going to want to assemble it where you intend to use it because its very heavy. Unlike other reviewers, I have no issues with the drawers. They feel just as solid as the rest of the frame. Each drawer will fit about 2 sets of sheets. Take note: the bed comes in four boxes. When mine was delivered, I got 2 boxes one day, and 2 boxes the next day, so dont start putting it together until you have all 4 boxes. Extremely easy to assemble

It came with very minor scratches on a couple of edges. Probably done during the packaging process but since they are not noticeable, is not a big deal. Im still giving 5 stars because I really like this bed and the queen mattress we bough for it, fits perfectly. So far so good
Really easy to put together, but also sturdy. Doesnt squeak or move, its great quality. The doors are excellent. The best part is that they were already put together when it arrived, so we didnt have to worry about them not fitting or assembling them wrong, which can be a real issue with storage beds. Weve had it for a few months now and we love it. Would definitely recommend. solid build quality
The quality of this bed is superb. It was east to assemble and of very strong materials. Our mattress, a Casper, fit it perfectly. We highly recommend it. Great product for the price
