I do recommend a partner when assembling this item, I did it alone and it took a few hours and a few breaks The instructions were pretty simple and everything overall was easy to assemble. I really love this bed, with my last bed my shins were constantly bruised from hitting the edge. Sometimes I intentionally hit the edge of this one in celebration that I wont be hurt again Very pleased!!!!
This bed has a very cool Austin Powers vibe and looks nice in our mid-century furnished house. It is however very low to the ground and its very hard to make up due to how the mattress drops down into the frame. Wed intended to put this in our master, but its too hard to make up every morning. Getting out of bed isnt hard yet, but for someone older, it might be tough. Its in our guest room now, so its used infrequently. LOVE the look but it has definite downsides. Amazing exactly what is described

Was missing a piece of wood, if I wasnt handy it would have been a problem.
I like the product, but it was missing a piece of wood. Make sure all pieces are there before shipping. Simply Perfect!
