I am a paraplegic widower, 59 years old. My space is limited by the need to have room to maneuver my wheelchair without obstruction. This bed gives me that, both in being a twin size and in having three drawers which obviate the need for a three drawer chest. The drawers could be longer, but they hold everything I had in a three drawer chest. With the headboard (sold separately) attached, there is plenty of storage space for anyone. The bed is high enough for me to transfer from my chair and back again without difficulty.
I realize most who consider this bed will be doing so with a child or young teen in mind. Space is at a premium in any young person's room also, and this bed gives you that.
The bed comes in a flat package - a LONG, flat package - and weighs 130 pounds. My brother-in-law and I unpacked it outside and brought it in a few pieces at a time. All the parts were marked. Assembly instructions (which I had gotten via email in advance from the manufacturer) are not difficult to follow, and I recommend that you follow them carefully. With my brother-in-laws help, I assembled the bed and attached the headboard. It took us a while to put the bed together, but having already familiarized with the hardware by assembling the headboard (which came before the bed) and studied the instructions, it went smoothly.
Just be certain to move the bed into position before you place the two pieces the mattress lays on - The bed is heavy and there is no place to grip it otherwise.
I am not a 5 star kind of guy, but I am making an exception in this case. I am quite satisfied with the bed, and recommend it to young and old alike.
I bought this bed ( furniture's twin bed, chocolate color) and still in good condition. I don't have any complaints. I like it!!!
It comes in the box but really heavy for one person, you should find someone who may help you...
When I opened the box I found two broken parts in the box. I was thinking to return it but I changed my mind.. If you find two long parts cracked/broken in two sides of the box, do NOT try to return them, those parts are just protective parts, they are not actually beds parts and you may throw them away at the end...
Bed is over 4 years old and still in good condition!
It would be perfect if three metallic handles were not sharp.

The bed is good and the two planks that hold the mattress are good too. But one problem we had was with the two pieces of wood that support the big planks. One goes on the headboard and the other one in the foot board. These two are connected to the bed with a pair of dowel at each ends.These plastic dowels are very weak and keep falling off. So we used dry wall anchors and screws instead of them. After that the bed became more sturdy. Before that these support planks would fall off often and we have to fix it back, until we could take no more. Now it is good for our toddler son.
One more major problem was the handle for the draws. They are too sharp. It can hurt.
I bought this bed for my 3 year old. When the box arrived I was a little worried because it appeared that one of the boards was broken, it turned out to be one of the boards they use for packaging. All the pieces were there, the right color and in good condition. I am very happy with this bed, and so is my 3 year old!
I bought this bed for my 4 year old and so far its been a perfectly fine purchase. The bed is plenty sturdy and its low enough to the ground that my daughter can get in it with no problems.
Of the dozens of pieces of furniture I've assembled this one had one of the easiest instructions to follow, with clear pictures on every step showing you exactly what parts you need. The only problems I saw were that the drawers were a bit tedious to assemble, and the handles are a bit sharp. I found some cheap foam covers at a craft store and now the handles aren't an issue. All in all it took about 3 hours to assemble and wasn't too difficult.
If this bed lasts me till her teen years I'll be happy, and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.
I bought this bed for my just turned 3 yr old and he LOVES it. Going to bed is no longer a fight. It is well made and sturdy. My husband, my newborn and myself along with my son can sit on the bed together and read bedtime books with ease. Even with all that weight on the bed it has never creaked, wobbled or felt unstable. I also like the fact that I didn't need to buy a boxspring for under the mattress.
I've had this bed for almost 3 years now, and it has held up well. It was bought for my 5 yr old son who is pretty hyper and has lasted 2 moves (and many re-arranges) with only minor wear. Just recently one of the wood panels that hold up the mattress boards came off. I just had to screw it back on and it was fine. The wood isn't high quality, but if you're looking for an affordable, simple piece it works nicely.
We were looking for a versatile bed to transition our 3 year old out of his toddler bed. The bed arrived in good condition despite how heavy it was...very well packaged and had no damaged parts even though the outside cardboard packaging was a bit beat up. The bed itself goes together pretty well and the instructions were straight forward. The drawers probably took more time to put together than the bed itself. Fits a foam mattress we purchased for it perfectly and looks great. Drawers use plastic rails, so could imagine they may wear down a bit over time, but we plan to use the drawers largely for storage rather than every day use. Height of the bed is great for kids
Two of the boards came slightly cracked. We were in need of the bed due to baby coming and I blame it on the shipping handlers, but very sturdy and looks great. Assembly was a bit time consuming for the hubby but matched our other furniture perfectly.
