They developed a system that one gets the top bed during the week and the other on the weekends. Its easier to get them out of bed when they get to start the day going down the slide. I love the stairs instead of a ladder. Easier on the feet.
This bed is nice. It took about 3 hours to put together. There were no issues with holes or parts. The top front rail had to be placed on and all 4 screws had to be in before tightening so that it would go on. I bought the XL mattresses and they fit perfectly.
We are in love with this bunk bed. My kids dont want to leave their room. The instruction manual was a little hard to understand at first and we had a some what hard time putting it together. But other than that I am really happy with this purchase.

Only down fall is the empty side that obviously doesnt have the slide. Baby bed/gate is a must.
The bed came in two boxes. It took me, with the help of my 6/year old, about 5 hours to put together. I only need my husband to lift the assembled roof section. I didnt use the bed slats for the bottom bunk, but I added those to the top to make it more sturdy. I used a 12/inch mattress on the bottom, 8/inch on the top. The 12/inch is a little thick, but we already had it from a previous bed. Decent quality. Overall great bed for the price.

My 2year old and 1 year old love it
Perfect size for my toddlers! My one year old can get on and off her bed, and my two year old goes up to his bed with no problem.
