Im happy with the way the grill Gazebo looks. And its a nice size. My only fault with it is, when it rains the two ends fill up with water. To bad there wasnt a way for the rain to run off.
I found numerous scratches and dents in the parts. I had to straighten some of the connection points to allow assembly. Even though they double wal the carton, they did not put enough inside around metal parts to keep them from rubbing against each other. The box exterior was barely damaged but it looked well used by the time it arrived at my door. The unit is assemb now but I would encourage the manufacturer to wrap parts inside the box better.
Easy assembly/ clearly marked pieces. Item is sturdy and holds up well in the wind. Very happy with purchase. We did add wood to one shelf so that things couldnt fall through the grates. Please dont think that the shelf wouldnt be sturdy, it is.
This definitely took longer to assemble than the directions had said. It also is already broke. The stitching in the top corner didnt hold, the zipper broke on the privacy curtainit hasnt even been up for a month yet. But it is just as nice looking as it is in the picture. Ill probably stitch it up by hand somehow to make it last the rest of the summer but I probably wouldnt waste my money on this a second time.
It was exactly as pictured and described. It was essential for me to have both screen and solid sides and Im so glad I splurged on this to get it. We just used it all day through a heatwave because we were able to keep closing different sides as the sun moved and keep the entire space shaded.
I dont expect it to last forever, but if you want something meant to do that, youre gonna need to spend closer to 1K and get something with a .
We found out his Gazebo was NOT water resistant/waterproof. The day after we put it up it rained and needless to say everything inside our Gazebo was soaked. We ended up having to purchase a waterproof tarp to put across the top and strap down to keep everything inside dry. The manufacturer can not be serious about taking this Gazebo apart when it rains as that would be a lot of work. For the amount of money we paid for this Gazebo I would of expected it to be waterproof. This was an upgrade to a bigger Gazebo and our previous one was purchased from Wayfair and it never had water leak through, we could sit under it while it rained and never got wet. If you are looking for a waterproof Gazebo this is not the one you want because you will spend even more money trying to make it where your patio furniture doesnt get ruined.
ok, lets get some things out of the way first
For the reviewers saying the strings on top are on the wrong side. This is incorrect. Those strings are for tying the corners of the bug screen in the raised section. Its not mentioned at all in the instructions. Once you have the roof framing on and drag the larger roof canvas over the top, STOP and tie those corners. Its near impossible after the roof is fully stretched and anchored.
Some other things missed in the instructions that should be mentioned:
Once you decide where youre installing it, put together all the framing (except the roof), but leave the hardware finger tight only. Then anchor your firs post. After that, check all the columns to be sure they are at least close to being plumb (the vertical version of things being level for those not familiar with the term). Check each post in two directions. It doesnt have to be perfect, but this will get the feet closer to their final location.
THEN measure corner to corn at the base in both directions. These numbers should match exactly. If not, adjust the bases until they do, being sure not to let the posts get to crooked.
Once thats done, anchor the rest of the bases. Then go around again with your level and a helper. Plumb all the posts, one at a time, in two directions and do a full tightening of ALL the hardware going to that corner of the framing. Work your way around to all 4 corners this way.
Now you have a nice square and straight frame to work from!
More tips:
The hangers for the screen. Man I wish these instructions are better! Place 12 hangers in the inside track on each of the short ends, and 16 on each of the long ends. Divide them in the middle. Start your screen at the middle of the frame and work your way toward the corner. Once there, wrap around the post and continue. You should end up at the middle of the adjacent frame. Repeat until all 4 screens are up.
As to the hangers for the privacy fabric, you need 10 on the short side and 14 on the long side. Install just like you did with the screens.
Hope this helps clear up some confusion!
Overall, I think its a REALLY good Gazebo option for the price. My only squawks were the incomplete instructions (obviously) and one post had slight damage (easily fixed). Oh, and there was one rivet nut with bad threads that also wasnt crimped well.
If it werent for those items, I would have given it 5 stars, easily!

Instant shade
My wife bought this instead of getting another umbrella for our back yard. It was a pretty easy assembly and looks great in our back yard.
Very disappointing!
