basically I just received this entry way its cheaply made but of course it was also cheap in price. so you definitely get what you pay for. pay more (double) for quality. Id give this entryway about 3 years before it breaks. its in a mudroom with heavy use. this is no disrespect to the company. they took great care in their packing of the bench there was nothing wrong with the parts when they arrived. its just a cheap feel piece that was actually cheap in price. so again I cant give it a bad rating because you cant get quality wood solid furniture for the price they are charging I didnt know that until now.
Recently purchased this bench. I love it!!!!! Easy to put together. We had a little trouble the safety that hold the seat up so it doesnt close on a small child. Other than that it is perfect. Very sturdy. It looks exactly as in the picture. I am glad I bought it!
people were right about the packaging . . . .this could fall out of the back of the delivery truck and it wouldnt damage . . . easy to put together also, everything labeled for easy assembly . . . .30 to 45 minutes assembly time
Our bench arrived and it was packaged niceeely. I had read the previous reviews about the problems people encountered putting the bench together. Guess what, I guess the company took those under advisement. It was a breeze putting the bench together. We love it!!!!!! Its just the right size for our entry way. Thanks.
Everything was packaged very securely and we had no trouble getting it together. There were no cam locks as some others have previously mentioned, all hardware held up and hinges were already installed on the storage compartment. It looks great!

Outstanding. Instructions and hardware must be updated because it went together with no difficulty in very little time. We love our bench.
