Loving this chair!!! The only reason it got 4/5 was because the color was just a little lighter than the picture but I dont mind that at all. So easy to assemble (came in just two pieces + the legs).. it also delivered a full week earlier than it was scheduled to. Very happy with this purchase!
This futon is the perfect solution for our small guest room/office. It looks beautiful in person. Its such a rich color with super soft material. It looks more expensive than it is. The couch is pretty firm to sit in, but I dont mind the firmness. Its still pretty comfortable, and has a lot of space to stretch out on. Havent used it as a futon to sleep on yet, so cant speak to the comfort of that experience.
This couch is soooo cute. If you have pets, you will never get the hair off of this couch. I built this couch by myself and it took days and was exhausting. The fabric is very soft. The shape of this means that at no point when I am sitting or laying on this couch, am I comfortable. The seat cushions are the most flimsy part about this couch, but everything else is very solidly built.
Took less than 15 minutes to assemble, with no tools needed, as outlined in the instructions. For a $400 couch, its amazing. Definitely not intended for long periods of use, based on the comfort level. But for a person who needs fast and affordable furniture, and plans on using it less than two hours a day, this is for you. Color is a blueish gray. It definitely will not fit three men comfortably, side-by-side, but will work for any other combination of guests.
We purchased this couch in 2019 and its held up appearance wise since then. The couch itself is not comfortable for long term use. Its a nice sitting couch for a short visit but not the kind of couch you get cozy on.
Nice couch for under $400. Didnt know it was a futon too until after I ordered it, thats a plus. The color is a very nice blue - Id call it a deep water blue because the color changes with the light in the room. Check out both pics I took at different angles. Sunny daytime = bright blue. Night/cloudy day = deep rich blue. Either way its a loveeely color. Very heavy to get inside with only one person as its a 100 lbs but can be assembled by one person once inside. Does come folded in half with parts clearly marked. It is a FIRM couch but I likeee it!!!, I dont need to sink when I lounge. The velveteen fabric is very soft. I have found its a bit water repellent and easy to wipe down for crumbs.
I really likeee the look of this sofa. It has a really nice velvet sheen and Id say its actual color is very accurately represented in the product images as well as the pictures I provided. The overall build quality is pretty good and it feels sturdy. I likeee the way the split back folds down and the mechanism that latches into place to hold the back rest at pre-set angles works very well also.
I have this in a guest room where it will primarily be used for sitting and watching TV. Its not super comfortable but its fine. The seat and back are both firm but they do have some give. I generally prefer more of a firm feel rather than sinking into a giant marshmallow but Im sure that some people will not loveee the comfort level of this futon. I havent opened it up to use as a bed but when laying on it in the couch configuration it is quite comfortable, substantially more so than when sitting.
As for delivery and assembly I have no major complaints. The sofa arrived in a square box and all of the large velvet pieces were wrapped in black cloth bags which both protected it during shipping and provided a helpful aid when dragging it up the stairs. One corner of the shipping box was kind of shredded but there was zero damage whatsoever to the sofa or even the cloth packing cover for that matter.
Assembly was fairly easy and consisted of less than 10 steps. The whole project took me about 2 hours total including the time to unbox it, drag it upstairs, and unwrap and account for all of the hardware. As for assembly time itself, it was probably a little more than an hour. My only minor complaint or thing to note is that a few of the nuts/bolts where the arms attach to the base are extremely hard to access with the provided wrench. I ended up using a ratchet with a 12 MM socket. I didnt try for very long to tighten the nuts with the provided wrench but my initial impression was that it was going to be extremely annoying and perhaps even impossible on a couple of them. So Id say youll probably want to have a ratchet and socket or a box wrench handy.
Overall this was a good choice for a handsome, if not super comfortable, sofa at a reasonable price.

Soft but not Comfy

Exceeds its value.

Its visibly nice looking

I just loveee, loveee, loveee it!!!!. It is just the one for me.
I loveee it!!!. I likeee everything about it.
Go Notre Dame!!
Its everything that was described. Comfortable enough for the price. Nothing extravagant, but fits in nicely with the rest of the room.
Good couch for the price

Firm but fashionable
I likeee that its easy to put together...however its super firm and after time you can really start to feel the metal bars underneath.
