Okay so this is a great buy. I love that is low to the floor! my children are notorious for shoving everything under their beds when its time to clean up.
As for assembly: it is pretty easy the directions are easy to follow. my only complaint on assembly is the screws at the very bottom are a royal pain to secure. You have to use partial turns repeatedly in order to fasten well. There are a few plastic securing pieces that snapped but there are some extras included.
Overall Im happy with this purchase.
I bought the white bunk bed and my girls love it. The assembly was unbelievably simple. I was very surprised. There were small details in the assembly like plastic pieces that click in where the bars are Inserted that gave me extra peace of mind about the sturdiness and safety of the bed. The room is on the small side so that is why I opted for this particular model. It was a smart purchase. I bought a 10 mattress for the bottom and an 8 mattress for the top and they fit perfect!
It was much longer and just a waiting game for it to arrive. For a week it kept saying it would arrive today then it would change the next day saying it was delayed. It arrived in box with no damage like other reviews.
The welds are just small racks. I hope this bed lasts a year.
The slept in in for the first time last night. They enjoyed the experience nonetheless.
One of the bars for under the bed was too short. We put it on the bottom bunk and rigged it the best we could. I dont think it will have long lasting negative affects but still irritating.
It took an hour and a half with 2 people. Instructions were okay. We ended up messing up the bars and had them on opposite sides for the ladder which caused it to take longer or it probably would have been done in hour or less.
Save you money. Spend a little more for better quality. Lived and learned.
These are aming floor bunk beds. Just what I was looking for. Fabulous price. Instructions were clear, so easy to put together. I bought 2 sets and I love them.
I used other brands when my sons where young but never had a better bunk than this My sons are teenagers now one of them is normal weight the other is about 240 pounds/108kg and he is tall about 6.2feet, and they are using this bed since two months and it is perfect, perfect, perfect To assemble, it was a littel hard and took a while but the result was worth it I advice anyone who has kids over weight and a small space to buy this bunk It is perfect for a small room and excellent for over weight teenagers or in college
PS: working on my big son to lose weight reach 200pounds according to his height 6.2F will be excellent

This bed is the cutest addition to my childrens room without me having the fear of them addition getting hit by the ceiling fan.
