Pros:
/ Sturdy; my husband and I have been on the top bunk (1 at a time, of course!). We did cut 2 sheets of plywood to put on top of the s to make it even more steady and solid, as our kids mattresses were thin (from IKEA). With thicker mattresses, Im sure just using the s would be fine.
/ Good instructions; easy to assemble, but still took myself and husband a good part of a day to get it all together just cuz of all the pieces involved.
/ Nice color (we ordered the chocolate one)
/ Like that the ladder was interchangeable//can put it on either side. And, the ladder didnt come out from the bed and take up more space in the room. Nice space/saving feature!

/ The finish isnt as great as they claim. The stupid stickers they put to label the parts wouldnt come off very easily, and many of them took the stain/finish off when we tried to take the stickers off. Annoying!
/ The wood is VERY soft, so it must be cheap pine. So, claim that it is solid wood is a bit deceiving. Yes, it is woodnot particle board. But, it is not high/quality wood. We knicked the bed a few times putting things together and getting our plywood in/place. I could make dents in it with my finger nails.
/ Becuz of the cheap wood, I am disappointed with the price. It should have been cheaper than 300. Think about it: 150 per bed//thats not cheapat least, not for us. But, in pricing other beds outthis one seemed in/line with other ones that had poorer reviews for stability. Safety was 1 for us for our kids, so we went for this one seeing that other reviews stated it was nice and solid/sturdy. So far, I agree!
Bought these for my grandchildren. Easy to put together. Took 2 of us about 30 minutes (women / no men!). Fit together great only 1 part split out when screwing together. I e/mailed the seller and they sent a replacement right away. Kids love them and they are working great for us. Kids ages 9, 6, 5. We adults have got on the beds and they seem very sturdy.
My 5 and 2 1/2 year old LOVE the bunk bed! It is very sturdy and the perfect size for young boys. One of the things that attracted me to this item was that the ladder was attached, creating more play space in the room AND not allowing my boys to detach the ladder. My husband did have to drill a few holes a little deeper for the bolts to fit all the way, but other than that it was an easy build.
First, let me say that this is real wood, and it is a SOFT wood, subject to dings and scratches. My two year old was helping me and my husband put this together with his little pretend screwdriver and wooden wrench, and made some dings on the wood oh well.
Secondly, the allen wrench that comes with this set is horrid. Get yourself a better one to build this bed before you get too far. Makes all the difference.
Besides these things, I LOVE THIS BED. Sturdy, beautiful, and easy to put together if you follow the instructions.
The instructions specifically state using a 6 inch mattress for both beds.
Great bed!
We visit my parents a couple of times a year and use this bed as a set up and take down. Very sturdy and solid. We replaced it with a bunk bed that we mistakenly bought last year. Always go with wood! Very pleased and our son and daughter were able to re a room and sleep soundly for a couple of weeks, no problems nor complaints.
I bought these bunk beds for less than 300, and I am surprised with the quality of the wood (really beautiful wood, which I didnt expect), the screws, and even the packaging. The instructions are really clear, with drawings and text help, and all the different screws were in a separate little department. ALL the parts had a little tag with its part number, so it is really easy to assemble the thing, and to use the correct screw each time, you just cant do it wrong.
The beds look really nice, and are really sturdy, when you climb to the top you dont feel that ggy/bunkbed type of thing.
Overall, this is one of the products that have surprised me the most, I love it and would absolutely recommend it. The manufacturer really tries to deliver a perfect product.

These bunks arrived before the estimated time. The instructions were very easy to follow and all the parts were there. I did see a few areas where the wood had been damaged by shipping. I was able to strategically place those so they are not noticable at all. My son loves them. They are very handsome and sturdy bunk beds.
Received the bed yesterday and put it together this morning. Packaging was excellent with no damage to parts. Assembly took about 3 hours with the help of my son and daughter. The instructions were excellent and we did not have any issues with putting the bed together. The quality of parts and the final product were better than expected, this bed easily compares to the 500/600 dollar beds I saw at the furniture stores. I still cannot believe I could get this great a deal from and free shipping to boot. My daughters are absolutely delighted.
I was skeptical about this bed after reading some reviews. I even tried to cancel my order after reading some about them smelling like fumes. Somehow my browser wouldnt send the info so the order came anyway. Im really glad it did. There was no smell at all coming from the pieces. Everything was there though a couple pieces were broken in shipping. I called and the company rep was very helpful. My only complaint is that it took them 4 days to ship and 7 days total before I could put the bed together. Beyond that, the bed looks great and its solid. My kids love it. For the money I cant imagine better bunk beds. I highly recommend this item especially for those on a budget.
