Packed well but still had multiple scuffs and dings. Dont buy if you plan to use a boxspings. Tried both ways and neither looked good. and foot board both look way too short with it. Without it, the look is too low and a bedskirt look ridiculous because it is way way too long without a box springs.
Received many compliments. Although it did not come with decorative pillows easy to order or buy from another dept store what you want. I chose solid dark gray and they look terrific.
Sturdy, husband put together pretty fast. We had a very high bed before and wanted lower for safety. Bed is made so box springs are not necessary. We did add plywood because our mattress was pushing through bottom. Sleeps well now.
I love this bed in our new guest room. It is high quality, sturdy construction. The assembly directions were easy to follow, and all of the pets and tools were clearly labeled.
I have searched for a bed this style for a while and this was the least expensive and had the best reviews (2 in one bonus!). The bed did arrive later than anticipated but was not a major issue for me. On the matter of assembly, the instructions were easy to follow and straight to the point. I even found there were extra screws and tools included which is helpful should someone misplace a part. I assembled the bed by myself and it took me about 2 hours. If you have someone to help you, you will be able to assemble it even faster, but it is 100 possible to do it yourself. I did have a slight issue with the support rods in the middle, they were almost too small to seat completely in the frame notches. The only other thing i will mention is that i wish the were slightly taller so that the design could still be seen when pillows are in place. That was however my own error as i didnt consult the dimensions of the item closely. Other than that Ive had no issues. Would recommend!
Love how light yet sturdy this bed frame is. I only wish that the supports ran closer to foot and head so that a bed skirt would work with the frame. Love the room underneath that fits good sized bins for clothes storage.
I spent hours looking for a vintage bed for our guest room after the one I had selected at a retail store was sold out. All I can say is that I am delighted with this find. It arrived much earlier than expected. The packaging was easy to remove and the frame had no dents and not a single scratch. The assembly was easy: good instructions and organized parts and spares. It took my husband about 45 minutes. And the end result is spectacular, a beautiful, sturdy bed. I love it much more than our expensive brass bed. I highly recommend this bed.

I would have given it a 5 star but the head boards were damaged I would have returned it if it was very damaged but it was minor
