We followed the clear step/by/step directions with no problem. Bed is really quite sturdy when fully assembled.
Although the descriptions stated no bunkie board needed, I will get one for the top bunk.

This bed took 2 adults 4 1/2hrs to put together! So many pieces and screws. The assemble directions were helpful yet NOT. Anyone buying this bed PUT the ladder on BEFORE YOU SCREW the mattress boards on. The directions make you put together BOTH beds them lifting the top on over the bottom one, problem was once this was all put together the ladder was the last step. It was NOT easy screwing the ladder on because the directions made you put the mattress boards on first and screw then down. The screws are all Allen wrench type which sucked! Took forever to screw this together. BUT once it was all said and done it is a very nice sturdy bed!
We purchased FOUR of these bunk beds and two had some damage due to shipping. We could live with one, but not the other. It took a month and many many emails for , the manufacturer, to provide replacement parts. Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered another set and returned the damaged ones. Would have been much quicker and much less hassle.
These bunk beds are nice, sturdy, but not white. They are actually a pale yellow. Its OK for our decor but if youre expecting or need white, youll be disappointed. They are also fairly easy to assembleour teens put them together.
Im very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the bed. It was very easy to put together. Took about 1.5/2 hours (per bed). We bought two, and its nice to have the area underneath for the kids to play. I attached a photo for a better visualization of how tall it is under there. Its not very tall (which is what we wanted since our kids are still quite little) but its a nice size for them to sit under and play and fits a 2x3 cube shelf nicely for storage. The instructions for building were really easy to follow as well. Everything was included to build these beds except for one part you need a screw driver and a measuring tape which wasnt provided. But you mainly put it together with an Allen wrench, and 2 are provided with the hard ware. Such a great bed for a great price!
I never thought to check the actual height of the bunk beds / I assumed they were all a standard height / these are shorter then average but made well and very sturdy / rated 4 so others make sure they check the height incase they wanted something taller if your putting against a window

For the price, this bed knocks it out of the park. It came in perfect condition, and is great for kids. It has a clean / minimalistic look. It was a little bit of a pain to set up, but was worth it.
Box wa sslightly damaged, therefore a few pieces were damaged, but nothing substantial that we couldnt still use. Those boards just dont look nice now.
Bed seems sturdy. Fairy simple to put together. Took 2 adults about 1.5 hours to assemble. What we liked about this bed was the weight rating is higher than regular bunks.

Great bunks for the price / not white / and may arrive damaged

Maybe a long piece of to support the wood pieces which hold the mattresses
The item is very good, but in less then one month, one of the wood pieces holding the mattress got broken

Kinda a pain to put together. Truly love this bed but ladder broke less than a year. Hoping its fixable.
