    Pretty sturdy

I was pleasantly surprised, I didnt expect it to be as nice as it is. Seems pretty sturdy and easy to assemble.

Wooden pieces for supporting the mattress

The wooden pieces under the mattress should have more pieces (should be double). Because for the thiner mattress, it felt that the mattress will go through between the wooden pieces underneath.

    scuffing

Product came with some scratches from delivery. Black scuffs easily. Pleasing to the eye and sturdy for the kids.

Sturdy bed. Really happy with my purchase.

I love this bed. It was super easy to put together. I did it myself in about 2 hours. Directions were straightforward and the supplies were labeled by letter. I know some of the reviews said the bed squeaks, but I havent had any problem with that. I am really happy with my purchase

    I would buy it again

This is my daughters bed and she loves it. It came well packaged no dents or scratches. I put it together alone and it only took me about 30 minutes.

    Inaccurate item description

This is a good bed for under 500, but it isnt without its imperfections out of the box in terms of nicks and discoloration on the wood pieces. It wasnt worth doing any sort of exchanges or returns as we were in need of this bed now. The one disappointing part was the instructions stated that mattresses from size 5 in to 9/in would work, but that is definitely not the case for the bunk bed on top or the trundle underneath. The safety warning sticker on the bed even warns against using a mattress more than 8in thick. On top of that height of mattress raises the kid to an unsafe level and almost makes the guardrail useless, and the bed does not fit underneath with the trundle at 9 in either. Had to go take foam mattresses back to Target late last night out of their suction packaging and track down 6/in mattresses instead in order for the kids to be able to sleep safely. Lastly, I had bought bunkie boards as the item description said they would be needed, but the box came with wood support s and a bunkie board for the trundle. So I will get these large 3 bunkie board boxes over to a ups store for a return. Overall, it was a good value for the money but theres definitely some misleading parts of the item description that has caused some unnecessary hassles.

Easy to assemble / looks good

I turned to for a bed frame after my local mattress retailer flaked on delivery. My husband assembled this frame in about 3 hours, with breaks / I probably could have done it in the same amount of time. The box was pretty , though! Its sturdy and strong enough to bear our cumulative weight (hes a big guy), plus three cats. I feel like its a good value for the price and it looks reasonably elegant.
