Our granddaughters bunk bed is the envy of the household!
We threw a Mulblly foam mattress on top and it is aming. Then her mom build a small platform to build legos under the mattress on the floor.
What a cool space and so efficient use of the room.
It was easy to assemble and looks aming!
Fantastic frame its very sturdy and fits the matress well, its a great room saver for a smaller bedroom. It came in a box and was packaged so it was easy to bring in the house and move around corners,
I put the bed together in under an hour. Its well made with clear instructions. Ive got a happy kid! I will say that the color isnt a bright white. Its more of a cream/off white color which worked for us.
We got two of these. They were easy to assemble with two people. You have to follow the directions EXACTLY, using the letter/labels on the parts. Parts that look identical ( to me) are NOT, so lay them out and assemble in the exact configuration and order as the pictures. Dont tighten fasteners too much until everything is together. Then, go over each and every one to tighten. Both beds came out great, and are not squeaky.
The kids love them! We got 5x8 rugs to put under each bed, and they help delineate each kids personal space. Also they keep the beds from sliding on the floor. I was afraid the kids room would be too crowded with 2 twin beds (had 2 toddler beds) but the storage under the beds actually made more open space in the room. An adult can sit on the floor under the bed. Now, we just need to put up a couple small wall shelves for their nightlights, etc.
I literally just finished putting this together. (8/26/2020). Took about 4 hours but I was also doing it by myself whilst trying to watch two toddlers and two dogs so might have taken less time without the interruptions. If problems occur I will update this review but thus far I am impressed! The directions were very clear and everything is labeled and numbered. Very organized, which helped a ton! I only used the supplied allen wrench to assemble. Not ideal but worked fine and got the job done. No scratches or dents upon arrival and the black color is nice. Goes great with my daughters Nightmare Before Christmas bedroom.
My daughter loves it, Im on the fence. It was easy to put together and the price was right, I just flinch every time she climbs up there because of how shaky it seems. Time will tell, for now, happy kid happy mom.
