Easy to assemble as long as you dont mind crooked doors... otherwise it is a lot less easy to assemble! It took a long time to adjust and readjust to get the doors right. It is not a high quality piece that you will have for decades, but it is extremely functional! There is SO MUCH storage space in there! And it is a fun and stylish piece. It is comparable to quality. I do not regret purchasing this piece. If you have kids, mounting it to the wall is necessary. Within the first couple days I had a toddler pull it over. Luckily there was nothing on it and I was a couple steps away to catch it before it squished them!
Received this today and we put it together.. For the money it is very well made. the doors lined up perfect.. very satisfied with this cabinet... if you are looking to buy a great piece for the money
This is the most beautiful cabinet! Its very solid and is easy to put together. Im disabled and the only thing I needed help on was lifting the piece upright. To say Im happy about this is an understatement! Its the most well thought out product. The only thing Id change is that there are no holes for cords in the back, but I see that the item on the instructions is called a sideboard, but on the link it was TV stand. Maybe there could be holes to punch out if you use it with cords but not punched out if you dont. Id also like 2 tubes of glue as I glued each dowel on both sides and ran out of it. And there were no safety straps or screws for the back.
Assembly: putting this together wasnt necessarily an easy task. Even though some of the parts were the same (ie: the two side panels), if they werent put on the right side the pieces would not line up properly. For this reason, it is important to pay close attention that everything is lining up while you are putting it together. I would suggest having a partner help; I put most of the unit together by myself, but had my significant other help me with the doors. Getting the doors to line up properly was definitely the most tedious and difficult part of assembling this unit.
Overall impression: I LOVE the way this piece looks in my apartment. It definitely matches the mid century modern style I have thought the rest of my space. I used this as an entertainment center, but I am highly considering buying another one to use as a credenza in my dining room!

I was very happy with this cabinet. It is very sturdy when assembly completed. And assembly not difficult at all. Took a little longer than 1.5 hrs to complete. And it is a very nice looking piece of furniture.
