This is the first time Ive wrote a review on but felt compelled to do so. Basic structure is easy enough but it is near impossible to put the door together. Very small screws, pre-drilled holes were poor, youre screwing into slots not a hole so it moves around the entire time and doors dont line up.
Very beautiful accent chest. Works for extra storage. Made very cheap, not real wood, but I knew this when I bought it. I do not have any children for it would easily scratch, dent and peel. It looks very expensive and it fits right into my decor. It probably wont get damage for I take good care of my things and like I said, I have no children to ruin it.
This was pretty easy to build! The box is heavy-but was packaged nicely so everything came undamaged. Easy to follow instructions and looks just like the pictures and was the perfect piece for the space I used it in. Very sturdy so far!
It looks great, but it feels like the particle board quality that you would expect. We had trouble aligning the doors evenly; theyre slightly off and close unevenly. Its fine if youre not OCD.
We used contact paper to cover the wood and it looks a lot better for our space. This unit has absolutely no cut outs on the back for cords, so we used a 2 inch bit and created openings. It was fairly easy. The cabinets are very roomy and fit tons of game systems and accessories. Height is good too. Only wish I didnt have to spend so much on something i still had to customize.
Took a bit of work to put together but I was able to do it with by myself minimal help (need some help holding pieces). The item is sturdy and attractive. I would have liked for it to have a sixth leg. Theres only one in the middle, and it makes it a little wobbly. But for the price I thought it was an excellent value.
Edit: I was able to cut holes in the back paneling for cables since the back panel was very thin. I used a knife, and it was not easy getting a really clean cut, but it works. The back of the buffet is ugly anyway and will always be set against the wall.
