I originally had Tarva as my pantry in my old apartment, and while the drawers were nice options for storage, I was looking for a replacement cabinet. I wanted to be very price conscious, as I wanted to use part of my stimulus to help buy storage for my kitchen - but not all of it!; and I needed a lot of additional storage because I moved into a place with a pretty small kitchen area (really just three drawers and four cabinets, which is not enough if you like to cook/have to cook at home!). I was worried at first about spending so much, as this piece was described as MDF with laminate and the doors were noted as difficult to hang, but it turned out beautiful and with tons of space for my dishes and glassware. The top is already loaded up with my rice cooker, my slow cooker, my dutch ovens, my toaster, paper towels, cases of soda... It holds a lot at almost 5 ft across! Im really happy with my purchase and I cant wait to start using it in my kitchen/dining room! I would definitely say take your time in construction, but I do think it was worth the $200 to get cardboard boxes out of my kitchen (which was my previous storage option from moving!).
Im just so impressed with how detailed the assembly instructions are. every board and screw packet is labeled. It saves so much time. Plus there are spare screws and bolts. I did enough furniture assembly to appreciate this added thought.
The product is beautiful, no damage whatsoever. It is also really spacious and I enjoy the extra storage this gives.
Final product looks nice and has a good amount of storage. The doors and manual that came with the product were different from the photo in the item I ordered, though. The actual doors and pic in the manual had vertical lines in them versus a clean door in the the photo. It still looked ok, though - just slightly different. Assembly was fairly easy, and its sturdy enough to hold a 20-lb microwave with no issues.
If you cant afford West Elm, this is a cute mid century modern look for cheap. I painted the handles to match my sputnik light fixture.
Downsides: Cheap quality. Scratched bubbling up veneer immediately.
Not as easy as it should be to assemble. Directions are a little weird. One piece came damaged but the seller worked with me so I wouldnt have to return it. Over all, its a nice piece.
Was packaged well, the. box was dinged in shipping but nothing inside was damaged. It was big and took al little while to assemble but I was able to do it all myself.. It stores a TON and it looks nice. The doors look nicer than I expected too. The feet are kinda cheap looking but they are sturdy enough and I dont really notice them against my dark floor. For only $200 they are appropriate.
So I had read the reviews and saw that a lot of people complained that some of the pieces didnt fit together flush or were not level by a little bit. I found this to be true, both issues, but for what I paid for it, I am very pleased with this furniture piece and it will serve its purpose as a pretty little kitchen cabinet in our dining area. Its cute, and someone would have to look very closely to notice the flaws. And then if they dared to mention it, I would wonder why they were welcome in my home in the first place lol. I truly do love it! It was fun putting together too! Just make sure you have a drill. It will make assembly go much faster and easier.

Good for big items

West Elm on a budget

Nice addition to our studio space
Great cabinet easy to put together. Did come with two left doors but customer service was easy to work with and are sending out a replacement
