I spent the better part of a year, searching for a bunk bed, for my youngest boys, as they'll be sharing a room. is a brand that was highly recommended, by several friends. I've seen this particular bed advertised on several sites. In the end, had the best price. Since I'm a Prime member, there was no shipping. There's another version of this bed, with a slide. We really wanted it. However, it would have cost $198 extra, for shipping. So, no slide.
Things that could be better......
The wood slats, that hold the mattresses, are not evenly cut (some are shorter than others). This is a problem, when screwing the slats into the frame. The support split, in more than a few places. Now, if the support bar was wider, this really wouldn't be an issue.
It took us, roughly, 7 hours to assemble. That's from the unpacking to completion). The pieces are numbered.....using a pricing gun. That's fine, as long as the pricing gun is full of ink. The one used on ours was not. That made it difficult to read, decipher, which piece was what. In the end, not a big deal. Yeah, we could have purchased the expert assembly, but that was another $323. Then, they have certain requirements, like moving the bed into the room it's to be assembled in.....while waiting for your appointment. Since my boys wouldn't have anywhere to sleep, this, also, wasn't worth it.
There are a couple pieces, in our shipment, that aren't the correct (rustic) grey. It's only a big deal, if you're OCD. Unfortunately, I am. Lol
We love the pine smell! We chose not to attach the bottom bed to to top, because we may move it. Since they don't have to be attached, this didn't seem like a big deal. My little boy absolutely loves his new bed! His younger brother will, too (when he's a bit older). Our teenager asked if we could get him one. LOL!
The bed has only been in use a couple of days, but, overall, we're very pleased
I was skeptical purchasing a bed on , but a friend knew I was looking at this bed on another site (listed close to $1100) and suggested I check . I am so glad that I did, it's the exact same bed for almost $300 less.
I paid to have it put together but it seemed easy enough for my handyman insert shrugs. I am extremely satisfied with the quality.
Definitely takes time to put together. Lots of pieces to lay out. One person assembled ours in 2.5 hours. 2 long screws were missing. Overall, turned out to satisfaction. Cute and cozy.
We never bought something this expensive online before so we thought we were taking a risk. We are so glad we did. The kids love it and it was fairly easy to assemble. Directions easy to follow. Fast shipping! People that are saying the smell was bad - it was just initially after we got the boards out of the box within a day it was gone. Love this bed! So happy we got it.
Took several hours to put together but was well worth the effort. Instructions are fairly clear, make sure to account for every single part listed by lining them up and checking them off the list. Ours was missing one part six which was an essential component and we had to postpone our installation and request the part be shipped to us. The part came within a week or so and after some rearranging of schedules, I put it together with my brother. Hung battery operated lights through the bunk slats and around the top bunk for a bit of added flair. Suffice it to say both my kids (4yrs16months) absolutely love it!! Well worth the cost!!
My son loves his new bed! Hes 4 and has some difficulty climbing back down but hes learning. I wish ladder steps were wider so it was easier to climb up and down. One thing I did not think about was how to get sheets on mattresses. We have the bed in the corner of the room and it is difficult to change the sheets. Its definitely a work out but he loves his bed so much its worth it. Plus this is real wood!!!! It does have the real wood smell for awhile but we loved that about it. Most furniture these days isnt the real stuff. Wasnt difficult to assemble but definitely a job for 2/3 people. Just pay close attention to which side of the wood has the varnish and which side is painted. It does matter when assembling though they look a lot alike.
It's like all of my childhood dreams come true, not the sturdiest but it serves its purpose.
the slats ARE bigger than a standard mattress size so we've had to roll up blankets on two sides to keep the mattress from sliding around

So fun!
It was a lot of pieces but it all went together smoothly and it is pretty sturdy. My kids and I love it.
Looks exactly like the picture!
I say easy to assemble because the assembly was through and free when I bought the bed! The bed is great! My kids love it!
Great!
Very nice, our 7 year old absolutely love it.
Overall, a great item.

solid wood, great quality and $250 cheaper than other online retailers
