This is a wholesome, practical piece of real furniture. First,, the pieces are generously-sized - you can sit on the footboard without it creaking or weakening the frame. Next, It is 100% cute - I ended up really liking the little exposed, recessed silver hardware because it's a little dressy, or a littl industrial-looking, idk, but it's cool. Finally, if you're trying to coordinate with other pieces of natural wood - although it is finished, this bed is just the right unfinished shade of yellow. It's a warm neutral, like hardware store lumber, but prettier - it has a beautiful, refined, unmistakably indoor finish.
I was wary of this bed after reading some negative reviews about it breaking. We are a little over three months in, and it is absolutely wonderful. Very sturdy. My son jumps on it the whole family sits on it, and the slats dont move, I dont hear it creaking or anything negative that I had read in previous comments. My son transition from his crib to this bed, and its low enough for him to get in and out of and not hurt himself if he falls. We do not use a boxspring with it. My son can fit under it, but I cannot. He goes under and sometimes will kick the slats, they dont budge. I am extremely happy with this purchase. But I will update if we have any problems in the future. We bought the twin in gray
I spent months looking for a bunk bed for my kids. I'm so glad I found this one. It's very sturdy with a 400 pound weight limit on each bunk. There is zero wiggle structurally and it was easy to assemble. Buy this one, but watch the price it varies a lot. Your purchase price should start with a 3 or a 4.
This was super easy to assemble with 2 people. Took less than 1 hour. My son loves it. Super sturdy. No creaking. Good value. I would buy again. Color is super modern and goes with any decor.
We paired the TOT with a FOT in a bunk room at the lake house and they look perfect. The kids love them! They take a bit of time to assemble and you definitely need two people or more (the kids helped too). The headboard and footboard are the trickiest part.
Be sure to inspect the pieces to put the nicer side out, when applicable. One long side rail had a ding in it that couldnt be hidden but a couple others that are interchangeable were easy to rotate.
We got my son the twin over full. He loves it. My husband built it all by himself in about 4 hrs. It's a very sturdy bed and a few adults have already tested it out and slept in it as well with no issues.
Lovely little bed for children however, the mattress supports are insufficient at 9 apart. Every mattress store we visited or bed in a box we looked at required 3. Safety standards recommend 3 as well as a maximum distance between boards. Disappointing that a product such as this would not provide slats that meet this ideal.

Nice but…..needs better mattress support
