It took awhile to put together. The directions where the twin post with the ladder was wrong in the book. It really is very sturdy and I love it. My mattress is too high. I had a 12 on the bottom and forgot high high it was going to be 8.25 mattress on top and probably an 8.25 to 10 would have been enough. It looked really good seperated too. Worth every penny.
Not bad but not great. After a few months of having it my daughter has cracked her frame from using the rail to get in and out of bed. Scratches fairly easy but that’s an easy fix.
My daughter and son-in-law put the bunkbeds together in about four hours, not including the drawer assembly. Missing two bolts. Appears sturdy however in the pictures online the wood appeared heavier.
1. Make sure to have help while assembling.
2. I have a 12’ mattress on the bottom, and it’s a bit tight for an adult, but again, worth the buy.
3. I wish the side frames of the top bed were a little thicker. Every time one grabs the sides, it sounds like it could break. (But maybe that’s just the way wood beds are idk).
4. I love love love, that you can take the beds easily apart.
5. It’s beautiful, and had no dents.
6. Does not come with base boards. I had to purchase some ply wood from Home depo for that.
7. Tons of room under the bed for storage. Really awesome.
