Our daughter wanted a bunk bed so bad. This one was a great price and was the color and look she wanted. It was not easy to put together. It took alot longer than expected and some of the parts were not well built. It is very sturdy and holds well and looks great. We like it and it does the trick and is safe.
Think of a IKEA product with a little less sophistication in finish and instructions. It takes a long time to assemble the product. It took me around 6 hours with a lunch break. I would suggest that you first take all pieces out of box 1, label with a post it and then for box 2 and do the same and then start off. That way it reduces the stress of finding pieces. All pieces are marked with a dark stamp on one side for most part. In some places the marking is a bit off or light and you need to do some logical deduction based on the pictures. But at the end of it, there were no pieces missing and they all went well together. It is good to have a drill to make some missing holes. the biggest flaw I noticed was that one of the corners of the top bunk had a slightly smaller hole depth and hence sitting in a unusual way while being placed on top of the bottom part of the bunk. But a bit of drill work solved the issue. not a biggie. For most part, it is a well made set and looks good when assembled. More updates once I get the mattresses and start using it for my kids.
We actually love this bunk bed! The price was perfect for us. It is beautiful color and wood. It took a bit to put together and it’s definitely a two person job but overall sturdy and beautiful.
The bed is sturdy and was easy to assemble. The problems were quality control related. There were a few deep dents or holes in the wood that were just painted over and some spots where holes were double drilled. Other than that, it’s a beautiful bed. I would’ve just liked to see better quality control on the finished pieces of wood.
The instructions for ours were backwards. It said to use item x when it should have been u. So it took a minute to figure that out. Some pieces were scuffed from the box. The ladder was missing a screw. Overall it’s a good bed but a pain to put together. The color does chip easily so that’s a downfall.
Its a nice sturdy bunk bed for the money. It had one minor scratch, which is pretty impressive considering it is such a soft wood. Just be aware the max wieght for the top bunk is 165 pounds. I wiegh 170 and it held me fine. My only real complaint I have is the instructions should be more clear and as every other review said, make sure you set back atleast 3 hours for assembly.
This is a terrific bed for a pre-teen boy who is excited to be able to have friends sleep over after a long year of quarantine. It was relatively easy to put together and looks very nice assembled. Very nice color, a sophisticated dark charcoal gray.
You do need a thinner mattress on the top bunk or the rails will not be that effective. We have a thicker twin mattress on top that came from a previous bed, and so there is not much holding the child in. Due to that, the top bunk may not be as safe with a thicker mattress if you have a younger child who may roll out. For a bigger kid, not such a big deal.
Overall, we’re pleased with the bed, and our son is thrilled to have company overnight again! This was a nice way to celebrate the retreat of the pandemic, and also acknowledge our son for all he’s had to give up in the past year plus.
This bed was inexpensive, and was delivered fast. The instructions to put it together are easy to follow, and the bed is super sturdy! I was really impressed. To top it off, its a very attractive piece of furniture. I bought it for a 4 year old, but I think it will last him until he graduates! VERY happy with this purchase. Great price too!

A few small flaws but good quality
