I really liked this console..The size is perfect and drawers work with ease...However, it's been a month and the out-gassing is so strong that I can't use of put anything in the drawers...Unfortunately, the console will now go out with the trash on Monday!
Very little table, using it for a TV. A little confusing to put together but once you get the drawers together the rest isnt too bad. A little wobbly but overall feels good.
I've been assembling a lot of furniture lately, following a recent move, and this is absolutely the worst. I won't be ordering from Choo Choo ever again.
LONG ASSEMBLY. The assembly is horrible long Expect 3-4 hours of tightening endless cam locks and screws. There's pretty much nothing pre-assembled on this table. The other downside of this is that you're assembling from such small components that any imperfection is going to multiply as you build up (and sadly some of those imperfections come from the item's manufacture).
POOR QC. The quality control of the bits is poor. The biggest problem is the screw holes, which are consistently off by 1/32 or 1/64 of an inch. It might not seem like a lot, but when you're attaching a slide or glider to three different screw holes, it's going to matter when they don't line up with the metal bits right (and out of eight such connections, all eight were off enough to matter). Getting the drawers to assemble correctly was also challenging because of minute mistakes in the hole drilling.
POOR MANUFACTURE. Finally, the wood all appears to be pressed, with just a faint veneer of black on it. That veneer chips easily, living livid white spots in your brand-new furniture.
I only felt like the price of this was slightly cheap, but the production was very much so.
The table maybe took 2 hours to put together and arrived undamaged. The process was as I'd expect for a table like this. However, the table gave off a strong smell after opening, we had to open some windows as it was making our eyes burn slightly. We also saw the warning sticker on it referring to California Prop 65. It'd be better to post this info in the item description so you can see it before buying and make an informed decision.
So we got this for our entry way. It was damaged in 3 spots (pictured) there is way too many small pieces for assembly. This is not a quick fix job piece .
I never write reviews but feel obligated to let people know this was an absolute nightmare to assemble. Thank god my husband is handy and was able to rig it together after the screws broke and some of the pre-drilled holes werent drilled. Not worth it.

Good value for your money.

Poor Manufacture, Poor QC, Very Long Assembly

Easy enough to assemble, but smelly and has a formaldehyde warning sticker on it.

Not bad for price -
Just HATED putting it together. But decent quality for price. overall - satisfied.
Beautiful table, great value. But my drawers dont work well.
Love the table but the drawers dont slide easily and only slide out halfway. Did I do something wrong in the assembly?
