6 months later kids still havent broken it. Wood quality is about what youd expect but the way its constructed makes it surprisingly sturdy. I did accidentally snap the slide off trying to scoot the bed away from the wall. Easy fix but not the greatest design for its attachment.
Good bed frame but theres not much room between bottom and top bunk when stacked. Being a full over full youd think you could sit up in bed on the bottom bunk but theres not enough room. If youre getting this for little kids, it would be fine but since its full over full, youre probably getting it for bigger kids, teenagers like I did. They were disappointed with this especially since the picture makes it look like theres a decent amount of room on the bottom bunk. My teens are no taller than 55 so think before you buy this one. If the top and bottom supports were setup the same, that would make more sense and wouldve made the design a little better but the top has twice as many as the bottom and the bottom has 3 braces from the separate slats to the floor which makes 3 uncomfortable stiff spots. Im getting very disappointed with this buy now that Im putting all the pros and cons together which is why I gave it 1 star for value for money. Id rather pay twice as much and get something designed and produced for what it should be. I guess this is the world we live in now. Dont take pride in what you do just get it out to make that dollar
I can keep going with pictures of white paint on the entire frame also dented slide. The wooden slats looks like they fixed the broken wood and bonded them back together. But over all my children love it really safe and perfect for little ones. They wouldnt go to sleep on day one lol but I need a discount from to make things right. I cant pay full price for this defective frame. Its a awesome bunk bed though I would recommend it to anyone. Im not too picky thats why I didnt return but a discount would be excellent for a defective item.
The alignment of the wooden slats on which the mattresses lay is not great. They didnt match up perfectly and theres a lot of space between each one. But the mattresses seem to be sturdy and are comfortable. The bar that prevents kids from falling off is not so sturdy but it does the job. Overall, material quality does not seem amazing but good enough. Were happy with it.
Great bunk bed however, it needs more slats for the mattresses. You have to use foam mattresses and even those slip down through on the ends- Only area of concern. Other than that its been great!! You could make your own slats but thats annoying to have to do.
Adorable looking set of bunk beds in gray!
These bunk beds fit perfectly in our attic room with an angled low ceiling which is where our grandkids love to play.
While there are many parts to put together it wasnt difficult or time consuming! Love them.
