Went together smoothly. The only thing I found odd. The more decorative wood side was facing inwardly of the bed. Both ends. Whereas the rougher finish side was outward.
Should of been the other way around.
Cheap, sturdy, easy assembly. However, bed frame is 3 inches too short for lower bed to slide in and out easily. Didnt think I would have to measure the mattress to make sure it fit. Really dont want to take the wheels off to make it fit

We decided to buy 8 mattresses because One person in a comment said that, and we really appreciate it, because 8 mattresses make the daybed look more robust.
We assembled this in about an 1/1/2 hours. Very simple instructions and assembly was very easy but need 2 people. Steel is very strong and sturdy. This daybed/trundle is worth every penny.
I bought a 8inch memory foam mattress for both beds, the bottom one fits but i have to lift the top bed up to get it to slide out. So they were correct when saying to buy a 7inch mattress or below.

Use a standard mattress for trundle to fit beneath the bed frame.

Sits very low
It is so low to the ground I had to get risers. Also the trundle does not pop up so youre sleeping on the floor. Just so you know.

Wheels broke
Love everything about this bed. Only thing I didnt like is the wheels for the bed under it broke within a week. But is it great for our kids
