I would limit the size of people that sit on this thing, but otherwise it seems to be just fine. The frame is solid wood and bars. A little bit fo a hassle to put together, but that was more of a balancing act than a logistical act. I dont count on this being a LONG term piece, but for the price I am very happy
Must weigh about 12 lbs. very lightweight. Wooden legs with hollow tubes for the shoe rack. Doesnt seem strong enough but Im 64 and 320 pounds. It holds me, Im careful with it by not wiggling on it. Dont think itll hold me for a long time. Wouldnt stand on it. However it is stable for smaller people. Wife is 115 pounds soaking wet. Top is a brown suade artificial leather-like material. Very soft and spongy but rebounds when pressure is released. Dont place it on the bare floor like the pictures, use a mat so its not so slippery. This isnt a high end piece of furniture so dont expect much. The top screws on with self tapping screws. Most of its construction was upside down or on its side. Youll only receive a one sided piece of paper with an illustration. A little common sense and it fairly easily goes together. About 20 minutes with a basketball game on tv. I had no rips, no missing hardware and no misaligned holes. Time will tell if it lasts. 5 stars until it breaks. Dont like its lightweightness and tubes. Dont trust it. But until it proves otherwise it gets the benefit of the doubt.
Impressed. Its perfect for what I needed. I have about 8 pair of shoes on the two shelves (mine and husbands) and our toddler shoes go underneath. The bench is great to sit on or pop the toddler on to get her shoes on. The foam is a little stiff (that may not be the right word) but overall its great and im happy with it and glad I got it - I feel our space is much more organized with it!
The item seems sturdy and useful; it will fit most shoes but not boots. The main issues was chip on one if the sides exposing the raw color of the pine wood; and one of the parts had a crack on it.
We have recently purchased a house and I did not have a mud room area before. I wanted a place to hang coats and shoe storage. This fit the bill, and the reviews were ok. Definitely the single instruction sheet is lacking and small print, so with bad eyes it is kind of hard to read which parts are which on the diagram. Figured it out through some trial and error and some frustration, but I am happy with it. It is sturdy and fits perfect in my hallway nook. I did not care for the brown suede like material, so I recovered it with a staple gun (you could even probably use a glue gun as long as you glue before you screw the seat down). At our old house, we had a couple floor to ceiling curtains that I had to cut in half and sew to fit in a window for the laundry room. I just happened to have enough in the bottom part of the curtain to cover the bench, so now it ties in with the laundry room. With as inexpensive as this bench is, it would be worth the couple yards of fabric to customize it. I think a black and white chevron pattern would make it look sleek and modern, or your favorite sports team fabric, or even a vinyl shower curtain with a cool pattern if you live where it snows for the ability to wipe the seat down.

Super Small
Havent put it together yet but VERY disappointed by the overall size. Its more for small children. Would look pitiful in an entry way
