Just bought this unit, put it together in about 3 hours by myself.
Its really nice looking but Im worried about how flimsy it seems.
If Im gentle and dont slam the doors I think it will last a long time.
So, the good news first. This is the third piece of furniture Ive bought in a matching finish. I was leery at first because of the reviews about the doors not closing properly. I finally decided to go for it since it was the piece I knew would be right by my entertainment center by the same company and wanted it to match. It does match and looks great. The other thing you cant beat is the amount of storage it gives you.
The bad news: Even though I have put together multiple pieces of furniture over the years, I was unable to get the doors to line up either. I tried to use the screws that they suggested to make the doors go further horizontal, but even with them completely loosened, I still couldnt get the doors to shut freely on their own. However if I line them up as Im shutting them, they will shut and be flush as seen in the first photograph. The second downfall to this is you may want to set aside at least three to four hours to put this together. It is not a project for the weak of heart! I have put together a bed, a utility cabinet, an entertainment center, and so on and this by far took me the longest. I do have to say the instructions are pretty clear and everything is labeled well. It just takes quite a while. Im willing to put in that time and watch a movie while I do it because I want to save money.
Others have commented that it takes about 3 hours to assemble this, and they were correct. It took me close to 2 hrs 40 mins to assemble one (and I am experienced in setting up -type furniture). The instructions are very clear, but youll need to pay attention. The outside panels are very flimsy. A child of 7 could probably punch a whole in them. The finished product is unstable and wobbles, typical particle board furniture. So youll definitely need to wall hook that comes with the product. I took away one star because I wish it had more holes for the shelves. Overall, happy with the product.

It is the perfect size for what we were looking for. Matches really nicely with the rest of our living room furniture.

Nice size, although its very flimsy and feels like its gonna fall apart easily. Building it wasnt to hard but its tedious. Its like that fake plywood.
