    Issues with Yardell Powerlift chairs/

When we purchased these chairs, we had tested a sample chair at a local store and it seemed nice. Once we got the same model delivered we noticed 2 issues. first is that the front of the chair sits lower than the back, resulting in the person sitting at a downward angle of 5010 degrees, which makes the chair uncomfortable as the feet remain lower than the buttocks. Did not have a way to change the height of the front of the chair to compensate. 2nd issue was that theof the back of the chair is such that when leaning back on the headrest, the top of the chair pushes forward on the back of the head, forcing it forward and downward. If the persons back is firmly against the back of the chair, this results in an unnatural head and neck position that causes strain and pain. My wife noted that she also was starting to have crackling of the neck vertebrae from the strain. The chair is advertised as suitable for persons with height of 5 ft 1 In to 5 ft 9 inches. My wife is about 5 ft 5 so we did not expect an issue. Result is a very uncomfortable chair. This model was also available at Furniture stores, so test it first before you buy.

    Great purchase for my purchase

This recliner was the perfect one for my needs. I had an extensive open heart surgery and wanted a recliner to use to sit in with my feet up (retained water) AND to sleep in too. It very comfortable and gave me support on all sides. I am 54 tall and I was able to get myself on the recliner without feet hanging over the edge. I am extremely happy with this recliner.

    What a great value!

I bought this for my husband to sleep in after surgery. It is nice looking, it reclines, swivels and massages your back. I love it!

What a pleasant relief a well built chair can be for a disabled person.

I really love this chair its perfect for me. Im disabled and weigh about 260lbs. Its very well built having semi/firm cushions, easy to operate controls, and is quite comfortable. Its an incredibly huge upgrade from the completely opposite Pulaski Larson Theatre Recliner, 38.0 L X 39.5 W X 43.0 H, Black. Which I painfully regret ever purchasing last December.

    Excellent purchase.

Im very happy with this chair. I love the features. It is very comfortable. I do have to use a pillow for lumbar support but that is a minor detail.
