I have a full sized Adirondack chair I got for 180 that reclines at a greater angle and is wider and longer. It also came mostly assembled. That being said, 79 is a good value for this smaller one. Im not sure my bigger chair is twice the chair my smaller one is. I certainly admire all these ppl that are assembling this chair in 30 mins, 1 hr, etc. It took me 2 1/2 hrs to put together. I did take my time and the wood did splinter in some places. Just the back alone took 1 hour because it was hard to line up. I had to undo the screws and realign the slats so they would look more attractive. Im thinking of putting some sort of protective layer on the chair since someone said the rain got to the wood.
Im not sure if I like the sitting angle. Its more upright than my biggest chair so it is different. Im 57, 195lbs, a bit portly, the chair does fit me, but its cutting it close. Any smaller and the chair wont fit. If youre a larger person or a football player I would avoid this chair. I much prefer my larger Adirondack. I will also say, I have added a head cushion, ottoman, and soft pad for the larger chair, so the experience of sitting on that one is absolutely heavenly. Perhaps I should wait until my cushions arrive for my smaller chair before making this review? I did swap out the ottoman and add the head cushion to the smaller chair to see what it would feel like, and it did elevate the experience.
I bought the smaller chair because I wanted 2 chairs for convo in the future on my deck but I didnt want to spend the money. My deck is also small, so theres not much room for another full size Adirondack. I cant say I regret this purchase, but I do wish the reclining angle was lower and I wish the chair was just a little bigger.
I was only dissatisfied with the size. I thought it would be the same size as two of my adirondack chairs that I own now. Also Im having issues finding cushions that will fit these chairs. Assembling is relatively easy with the right tools. Definitely need a drill. It comes in pieces, nothing is assembled. The first one took me like 3 hours, but once I got the hang of it, I put the 2nd one together in half that time. It folds nicely for storage. Actually one folds better than the other but cant figure out if I did something wrong.
These chairs were easy to put together and are perfect for my sons area.
Unfortunately they are not weatherproof. After the first rain I noticed a split in the arm of one chair and another started in a second chair. Will seal with polyurethane and hope they hold up. Hopefully this purchase isnt a waste of money.
I bought (2) of these chairs. Was impressed at the ease of assembly. On first outing, one of the legs broke where bolted to armrest. Any idea where to get a replacement leg? I really like these chairs, but, one of (2) broke I LOVE theses chairs !!!!
It was stated that assemble time was about 45 minutes; it took me over 3.5 hours. The pieces were not well marked and I had to drill most of the nail holes in order to fit the pieces together.
Decent chair. Comfortable. Good Cedarwood.
But unprotected. Keep dry.
Recommend you drill additional wood screws
On top after assembling. The arms will come off when you grip the arm rest to get up.
I bought this chair for a beach themed room it took me two hours to put it together it was like a big puzzle but it is not sturdy at all the first time it was sat on one of the screws gave away the whole arm fell off, Im very sad about this because I cannot return it now because it has already been made in box have been thrown away. I would not make this purchase again

Cute and comfy but not weatherproof

Great
Love them and they are comfortable
Decent folding chair.
The predrilled holes are not always where they should be. Easy to fix if you dont go to fast during assembly.
Where to get Replacement parts?
