The corners arent very sharp but Id say this isnt for clumsy kids. It was really easy to assemble and all the parts were present and fit together easily. Absolutely seems sturdy for normal sized people and the bars underneath are close enough to definitely not need a boxspring or board. Probably no memory foam mattresses on either bed position. Dont recommend it for carpeted rooms unless you dont roll the trundle out often. It does roll but its more effort than youd want to expend twice a day every day. Wheels seem rounded so I think they would be fine for harder surfaces provided theyre kept free of debris. Wood slats are plastic but look fine, no strange smells. It also feels sturdy but is definitely lightweight in case you have to move around a lot. Good purchase, will be back if I need any more beds
Came out smaller than the dimensions, but Im not completely upset by it. It does creak, even just by sitting on it. One of the bars came crooked, but it wasnt hard to fix. Given extra screws and instruction book. The wooden touch makes the bed look aesthetically pleasing especially to decorate with new comforters and bedding.
I bought 2 of these and am very happy with the purchase. I read EVERY review and purchased memory foam mattresses for both beds. I have an 8 on top and a 5 on the bottom. There is just enough room for the 5 and sheets to slide under the bed. I have found that further support was needed. I bought 4 sheets of MDF and cut them down to fit the outside frame dimensions. I screwed it down with 6 button head screws per piece. Several reviews said that this wasnt needed but I found that I could feel the support members under the mattress without the additional support. Once added, it seems to be a quality product that should last for my lifetime.

Very cute daybed, perfect for my extra room. It looks very modern and its very sturdy. Best part is that it came in a somewhat small box and it was easy to put together.

Pull out section has insufficient locking in place ability, especially, on a wooden floor / the design is too simplistic.
