Its okay. My mattress I bought was just regular sized and its bigger than the metal sides. I wouldnt got a different bed if I knew that. But its nice and sturdy.
Expecting nothing really spectacular we where pleasantly surprised to find that the wood was actual wood, and the frame was EXTREMELY stable.
It was very easy to build and the company to provides a little wrench to work with their bolts.
All in all, solid product, easy to build, will be ordering another one of these for our guest room.
What I like is the sturdiness what I dont like is that it sits too low for the botttm bed to be made. Also, both ends have that bar going across. It could be much lower and allow for more room for taller people.
I got this because my boyfriend sometimes stays over and he just needs something to lay down on. I dont like him being on my bed when he comes from work. The only annoying thing about it are the wheels. I mightve probably gotten it the wrong way, so it turns and doesnt stop moving.
Not really sure what to do about that. Also, if you dont take off the glue on the bottom of the bed, your bed will shift. I dont want to glue my bed to the frame so I constantly have to move it back on its spot since the bed is not against a wall at all.
Nice, sturdy space saving bed. Great overall but the mattress stinks. Even after a month the smell was strong enough to transfer to clothing placed on it. Two months almost to the day I received it the smell seems to have faded. Good buy if you have time to wait.
I put it together with my 6 year old and am not mechanically inclined. Very easy to do and took about 2 hours, with breaks. I dont have the mattresses yet, so my only complaint is that the wheels dont work. When you push off or lock, the bed still rolls. Otherwise, looks pretty nice so far.
