It was easy to assemble! Only took 15 minutes, maybe less! Didnt have a problem with the smell, I didnt even smell anything. It could be the difference in the material since this is leather but I didnt smell anything. Havent gotten the desk yet so its just kinda there but I love it! Very sturdy! So far I havent had any problems with it but if I do, Ill update. It could be comfortable for some people but I personally dont think its the type of desk chair youd want to be in for long but a while will work, you can honestly just put a cushion under you and itll be fine. No complaints here!
I really like this chair. Looks nice, feels nice. Unfortunately the outgassing is awful. Im not sure what to do, it has now been over a week and it smells like gas fumes all day. I sit in the chair to work all day and it is just really terrible.
Purchased three of these chairs for online learning kids. High school, middle school and elementary. They love these chairs. They are very comfy and were easy to assemble. I did have to reinforce the screws with gorilla glue where the top attaches to the bottom the screws were loose from my kids constantly swinging the chairs but, thats the only complaint.
