Bought the teal bench and it arrived with one of the hinges busted off - which was crazy since it was packed so well. I will have to use some wood glue to fill the holes and stick the screws in and let dry. Other wise the bench is beautiful and perfect to hold some flip flops and several pairs of shoes at my front door. I would also note that this is a low bench - you can buy replacement legs that are higher, so just be aware.
This unit has both modern chic and Old World charm, (modern vintage) perhaps? Placed under the window in my bedroom, with two (back) cushions - to match bdrm decor. I use it as a reading/window seat.
The unit is regular chair height, 17 from ground; very firm - will not sag; attractive and eye catching. Stylistically - versatile enough to transition from a very modern decor to ultra traditional.

I am so ecstatic I bought this piece! Needed a cute bench to place in front of my bare living room window and this adorable piece is just what it needed. Went with the berry color and it matches my decor perfectly. True to color. Took me about 2 minutes to put together. I just purchased two black and white mismatched pillows to place on the back to spice it up. Such a great price for this piece - would definitely buy again.
Inexpensive with filling that seems like it would easily wear or become misshapen with extended use, for light use (not my children playing around on it or abusing it), it is very stylish, exceptionally easy to put together (legs), and a very functional simple furniture piece at the foot of my bed for sitting, setting out next day clothes After having it for two months, though utilized gently, it still looks brand new.
