Very easy to assemble. 15 minutes from unboxing to laying down to watch baseball. Added a gel mattress pad to get comfortable in the bed mode, but was quite comfortable just sitting sideways in normal couch position.
If youre over 6ft tall, youre not going to be able to fully stretch out.
My boyfriend and I just moved into a new place and wanted a cheap sleeper sofa. I would say its about what youd expect for the price. Its not the most comfortable thing in the world but its comfortable enough for us to hang out on. I dont see a guest wanting to sleep on it for more than a few nights, but thats fine. It was quite easy and straightforward to assemble. My one gripe is that the arm rests are really wobbly, definitely cant sit on them or anything. There are worse things though. Other than that it feels pretty sturdy.
If you want a cheap sleeper sofa, this is a good buy.
Well, I love the look and the design. If you need to move it, you can remove the arm rests and it folds into a nice square. Also, underneath is zippered storage for the protective covers it arrived with, and thats where they put the instructions for assembly just so you know.
I bought this couch because I was looking for a comfortable midrange couch that was stylish (specifically mid century modern) and high enough quality to last a few years. The less expensive couches that run like $300 felt too cheap and futon-esq, and I thought this would hit a nice balance without going over the $700 mark. I was worried because some reviews are quite negative, but if you look at the date, most of those are older - so I think must have made some improvements.
I mostly got the couch I wanted. I love the look - the green is definitely the right shade of off-emerald (if youre crazy like me and deeply worried about the color, Id say its Pantene shade PMS 350). Its not tacky but still stands out. I like the hardness of it - its firm but I can still enjoy lying on it a lot. It feels quite sturdy. Its well designed and easy to clean. Assembling it was literally screwing in the legs which took <2 mins.
A lot of people I trust have said wonderful things about the look of this couch. My one complaint is that it photographs as higher quality velvet than it looks and feels in person. Im worried it will show wear over time and look matted. Maybe its more chenille than velvet?
I think I am still happy I bought it, but if you have kids, a dog, or a messy SO, I might think twice about it.
Also - lost the couch the first time and I had to talk to several different people (a third party logistics company, customer support, etc) to solve it. But they gave me a 15% discount for the trouble and I still got it within 2 weeks so Ill let it slide.
Overall, we decided to keep the sofa, and after a few weeks are satisfied with how everything worked out, but it wasnt a seamless process. QC may be an issue with this brand. Also, would buy it again at our price ($600), but not for twice that, which is what its going for now.
Buying a couch online is risky, but given the pandemic and all the restrictions on stores being open we decided to roll the dice, especially since offers a 30 day return window.
A few things to mention:
-Color: We went with the dark blue option, but its not nearly as dark as the pictures. Wouldve preferred the color in the photos, but we were pleasantly surprised with the level of heather in the fabric. Not a dealbreaker though.
-Quality/construction: The first couch we received had a major frame issue -- one side of the couch was too long so the frame didnt sit flush. All 4 legs didnt touch the ground, so we exchanged it. The replacement couch was much better -- solid wood frame and constructed well with no structural issues. Wasnt crazy about the staples at the bottom of the frame holding the upholstery, but not unusual for a couch at this price point.
-Assembly: Take 5-10 mins, very easy.
-Process: The order/delivery process was very easy and the delivery companies were communicative. Like I mentioned earlier, the first couch had major issues, so we had to schedule an exchange. The easy thing was that the delivery company took the first couch, so we didnt have to schedule 2 separate visits. A bit of a headache regardless, but made it relatively painless.
For folks on the fence, I would pull the trigger if you can get a good deal (less than $800, there are major price swings for this model), and if youre not married to the exact color in the photos.

Good for the price

It looks really sharp!!

Not a lazy day comfy couch
Nice look to it, but not very comfortable
Well constructed and very stylish, with some caveats

It was Awsome.
n0thing, seat , and night time sleep.
Solid mid century sofa
Good mid century style. Low back so be sure to measure your other pieces. I use this for staging and it is firm.
Happy with the sofa, but YMMV based on price
