This was one of the most straight forward and easy assemblies I have ever put together. Its very sturdy but there isnt any storage capacity and I knew that before I purchased it.
I highly recommend purchasing, The headboard and body of this bed is beautiful and well made, I also purchased the Assemble Tech Package for an additional service fee, the delivery techs built the bed for me!! They followed COVID guidelines, were efficient, and professional.
I am thoroughly impressed how solid this product is. Was expecting a lighter, flimsier bed for the money. It not only looks expensive, it feels expensive.
1. Instructions are very clear and if followed to a t, there will be no problems.
2. All the hardware is packed and marked - not just a big bag of nuts and bolts. All you need to assemble is an allen wrench, which is included. However, an electric one would not hurt, as it will save you an hour or two.
3. All the holes are pre-drilled and prepared very accurately, so everything alligned well. Second pair of hands never hurts, but not mandatory in this case.
4. The drawers (internal walls and bottom) are not wood, made from light semi-transparent flexible plastic on a thin metal frame. It makes it actually easier to assemble, easy to open and close- glide right in and out, but I would not store there anything too heavy. The drawers have a tiny lock mechanism, so they stay in place. They are quite shallow, but there are no miracles
Time will of course show how this bed serves and what abuse it can take from an active 10 year old, but so far - I am very happy with this purchase.
Love ,love,love this piece. Just as pictured. The assembly instructions are clear and easy to follow but there are literally 100 pieces to put together plus all the screws.
It took me 2 hours to assemble. The hardest part was putting the legs, the corner bracks did not want to line up it took me 15 minutes working with one of them to make it line up with the predrilled holes.
The screws come nicely packaged so they are easy to keep up with and the give you the tools you need.

Easy to put together. I like the part that holds the mattress is 2 sturdy composite boards of some kind. I prefer it over slats to hold a mattress a princess can feel the slats through the mattress. I found the instructions entertaining and lightened my day. Also, the manufacturers are able to help out. The bed is made in Quebec, so I also liked that its made in Canada. Mattress not included.
Check the measurement of your mattress. My twin-size mattress is too small for this frame by a few inches both length and width. Also, the drawers have a little difficulty opening smoothly.
I didnt know what to expect for the price, but I am absolutely shocked at how well this bed is made. My husband is very critical of things like this and he too was impressed. My daughter and husband put the whole thing together in an hour. The storage drawers are huge. My daughter has a small iron and this is perfect for it.
