Heavenly compared to sleeping on the floor with a 3-inch foam mattress-topper. The chair is sturdier than I expected and the Velcro and fabric are excellent quality. The foam is excellent too. Its great, but would be perfect if it were a few inches longer. I sleep with the pillow at my feet.
I bought this for my van for camping. It is so comfortable. I will never sleep on the ground in a tent again. High quality, looks great, and well worth it.
I bought this chair for my almost two year old sons room so we could have something to snuggle on while reading. It does have a strong chemical smell when it arrives, so I took away a star. Will take awhile to air out, pretty annoying. The foam is pretty firm, and the cover has static so it attracts a lot of hair. But it seems to be well constructed so Im hoping it holds up well. It is a bit small for an adult and child to sit on at the same time. Photo if small child on it for scale. I might have ordered the bigger size if Id paid closer attention to the dimensions.
I purchased this chair to use as a quick bed when I couldnt sleep in my regular bed for awhile, thinking the chair might also be cool to use in my art room. I like the look of the chair, the bed folds and unfolds easily, but is quite hard to sleep on. There is no soft padding on the chair and it feels like you are sleeping on the floor. Even with a fiberfill twin bed topper and a folded comforter underneath me, the flip chair was torture to sleep on. I had to purchase a 3 inch foam pad from the fabric store to place on top of bed and that made all the difference. Now its great. I cant recommend this as a quick extra bed unless you also have a foam topper. The flip chair-as-bed is the equivalent of a box spring, so the foam acts as the mattress. As a chair, its OK.
Really convient and compact for a dorm room. It is narrow, but it really comfortable. My son has this in his dorm room, and his friends that sleep on it say it is more comfortable than it looks. It was a really great buy for a small space.
