First off, I love this couch for the price. Its perfect for our small 2 br townhome because its so small, but still offers decent seating with the chaise lounger AND its a bed that comfortably sleeps 2 guests(space wise).
Only thing, its not comfortable at all. Like not even kind of. My little family doesnt mind it so much, keeps us from being couch potatoes lol! Mine arrived with a weird tiny hole/stain? Looks like someone touched a cigarette to it or something but we have blankets to protect most of the faux leather anyways. Id recommend getting some sort of rollout pad to put on top for guests if you plan to sleep people on it often to protect the material and also so they dont wake up with back pain.
Oh, and its easy to move for cleaning under.
Overall, Id recommend it to anyone who doesnt value comfort so much. Its pretty cheap and does well for small spaces.
I was undecided on purchasing this item based on other reviews and went back and forth between a few futons for quite a while. I wanted the best quality for a reasonable price. After using for a few days I can say I think this is it. If you dont like a firm seat this might not be for you, also may not be the best piece of furniture for everyday use. I got the leather upholstery, so a little concerned my dog might damage it, Ill check back in a few months. But assembly literally took minutes and it was exactly what I wanted. I find it comfortable and large enough to take a nap on or use it for an overnight guest. And leather material is thicker and more durable than I expected. Will most likely be purchasing chaise to accompany it.
I purchased this futon to put in my home office. I just needed something comfortable enough to occasionally relax and watch tv or maybe take a quick nap. This futon has exceeded expectations! The gray fabric and silver trim look great and I have no doubt that it will be durable. I was thinking of getting the leather futon at first until I read the reviews. I think I made the right choice. Although it would be fine for short naps, I think I personally would put something on top if I were to sleep on it overnight (or for guests). It was super easy to assemble / it took about 10 minutes. For the price and my needs, I am satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this product to others.
