perfect size and even though its kind of firm I think in the long run it will hold up longer. It was one of the larger futon beds out there and thats why I purchased it.looks sharp as a couch too
very firm, honestly I thought it would be bigger than I thought, somethign for two people to be able to lay down on and sleep if I have some guests over. If you understand that its a good size for one person, and its quite firm then you will like it a lot.
I personally am ok with it because I like my bed firm (I rather sleep on a hardwood floor than something that is too soft). Maybe one day Ill get the accompanying lounge chaise to make the futon bigger when I open it up.

This was perfect for my television room. My halls are narrow and I couldnt get a regular davenport to the room. This came flat packed and fit easily through the hall. I was worried about putting it together, but it was actually quite easy. I had the whole thing completed in about half an hour. Id recommend this!
Be careful where you place this. The hinges on the back are not flush and protrude slightly from the piece. This resulted in it cutting the wood of our bed that it was set against.
Futon is just as advertised. Cant beat the low price. Although I needed extra hands to carry it up my apartment, it was easy to install and set up by myself. The cushioning is decent and I got the vanilla faux leather so it would be easier to wipe away any stains.
I have a love/hate relationship with this couch. For its price, the quality, style and convenience is unbeatable. To be able to fold it half and move it by myself in a prius is fantastic. It made moving much easier. The quality is pretty great and has held up with over a year of daily sitting and various sleeping. I have the gray linen and the color hasnt faded nor does it look like its gotten any stains or spots. Installation was quick and easy. All the needed tools came included. Packing this back up and moving it to a new apartment was easier than most of my other stuff.
Comfort, however, is where this will fall short in many aspects. As a couch its good so long as you sit in certain positions and for not very long periods of time. You cant sit in the center of the couch because of where it folds. While 3 people will have plenty of room to sit on this, you might not all be comfortable.
Sleeping on this is doable, even for 2 small people, however, you likely will not be comfortable. I would suggest putting down some thick sheets before sleeping on this so as to dampen that hardness and overcome the awkward parts where the frame is.
Despite this comfort flaws, it truly doesnt bother me much. I still think for the price this offers one of the best value buys. It still looks great and serves several purposes.

Smaller than expected, very sturdy, hard seating and strong!
This has a very hard seating area, but it looks elegant and appealing to the look! Good for small spaces and a beautiful navy color!
