I liked that the bed came with all the parts, no damaged pieces and the gray is very pretty its not light like dove gray nor is it dark like a storm cloud. Its a great in/between gray for a boy or a girl. My kids have always been large for their ages and they have yet to destroy this bed. Its sturdy. The down side is this: Im about 5 8 and I cannot sit up completely on the bottom bunk to read to my children I have to lie with them or kneel alongside the bed. Thats not a major issue for us though because we plan to use the beds separately (not bunk form) when our son and daughters no longer have to share a room. It only took my husband and I about an hour to assemble the bed. All in all, its a good piece of furniture.
Wasnt sure about purchasing a bed without seeing it in person but this turned out to be exactly as described. very sturdy for my 3 yr old and a parent! Dad has already slept in it twice with him.
This bed is adorable. We got it for our 2.5yr old. It holds a 10 inch mattress, him and both me and my husband at the same time it is sturdy. I do recommend getting vertical slats because the slats are rather far apart. It wasnt a lot and I felt it would keep the mattress from sinking and reinforce it etc. so for me it was worth it. We like to cuddle with him and watch his shows so we wanted something with a high weight limit and I liked the fact that you can get the add ons in the future. I got cheaper storage containers that fit under the bed for now and we can pull out which work great as there is a lot of room, and we put a bed rail that folds down between the bed and the mattress and its been great. Worth the extra money to not get cheap ply wood. This thing can def stand up to 400lbs. Weve probably gotten alittle over 300lbs and not a creak!
Easy to assemble it took about an hour with simple instructions. Came well packaged and arrived a week after ordered. The grey color matched my daughters bed. Seems solid and rolls easily on wood floor.
Some of the assembly needed 2 of us for stabilization (maybe that was just us) but overall it was easy to assemble. Love the non/toxicity of this piece of furniture!

Anyway, this bed is great. I purchased it for my four year old son since hes outgrown his toddler bed. I was looking at a lot of other options online and I liked how sturdy this one looked. The center bar really helps the wooden slats from sagging in the middle. The wood frame is lightweight, but very rigid and seems solid once assembled. I was worried about some of the other models being torn up too quickly. Although I dont want my son jumping on the bed, its going to happen. This bed was about 25 more than other options we were looking at and I think the money is well worth it.
The assembly was a breeze. If youve assembled other kids furniture, you know how frustrating it can be. I had this completed in a little less than an hour. You can use the allen wrenches that come with it, but these assemblies are always faster and easier with some power tools. If you have a comfort level with some basic assemblies, this bed should be no problem at all for you.
Overall, it seems like a nice sturdy bed that should last quite a long time. Im happy with the purchase.
I was pleasantly surprised with this bed. Instructions were clear and well thought/out with little room for error. They provided some extra hardware which was nice as well.
Everything except the footboard insert is real wood, and even that insert is still pretty high quality and durable feeling MDF. We went with the finish which was smooth and consistent with no areas really missing paint. Assembly took about 45 mins even with my daughter excitedly helping me put it together.
My only gripe about the bed and the only reason Im deducting a star is that the slats are too few. The space between them seems considerably larger than expected and you can sort of feel it even with a quality mattress on top of it. I may add more slats later myself. I like how they have all the slats connected together with a stapled canvas so that you dont have to space them yourself, just put both ends tucked into each corner and everything else is spaced accordingly. Only problem there is the wood is so soft that a lot of the pocket screws dont grab and I had to forego the pocket holes all together and just screw straight down into the wood and into the frame vertically instead of at a 45 degree angle.
Overall great value for the money though and would not hesitate to recommend. You could certainly do a lot worse for the price.
I felt so accomplished once this was all assembled! At times you may need a 2nd person to help you. I think its beautiful love that it has a non toxic finish
