This was purchased for my granddaughters to sleep in when they are with me. A friend put it together for me // a friend who is also a contractor so has lots of experience. It took him less than 90 minutes. Its very well made. Its sturdy. Its pretty. The girls love being in it. Im very glad I purchased it.
Lovely little bed for children however, the mattress supports are insufficient at 9 apart. Every mattress store we visited or bed in a box we looked at required 3. Safety standards recommend 3 as well as a imum distance between boards. Disappointing that a product such as this would not provide slats that meet this ideal.
Bed is good value for money and can support an adult. Sturdy and easy to assemble, it looks good as well. Only drawback is that some of the slats havent been properly finished and also they need to be nailed in. But since these go under, overall a good buy
My 4 year old picked out this bed and it is pretty cool. However, it is a pain to assemble alone. Get ready to do yoga and put yourself in some cry positions trying to get some of the pieces together. Also get ready for some sore thumbs because of all the Allen wrench screwing. I have managed to get the entire bed together but cant attach the base to the top until I have someone help me ( maybe Ill try a jack later or Ill just wait). The one thing I can say I do not like about the bed are the drawers. They do not attach and just rest on the floor. If I would have read more reviews I would have saw this before I made my purchase. The shipment comes in three different packages and all of the hardware came in one box. I was missing hardware and contacted the seller and manufacturer and it was resolved. Customer service gets 5 stars. Bed gets 5 stars. I am giving an overall 4 star review due to the drawers and assembly process. I would say just pay someone to put it together but I like to save money and ended up saving mine to do on my own. 4 year old loves it and thats all that matters.
I love these beds!!! We use them as separate beds and it was super easy to put together with my husband. Definitely 2 people to assemble. The sturdiness of them and actual wood!!! A
We got this bed for our 2 boys ages 4 6.
Pros
/A bunk bed gave them more room to play
/My 4 year old liked having a window to look out of on the top bunk. A fun detail.
Cons
/Difficult to set up
/Wobbly and needed reenforcement with screws
/Slide was way too steep. Our boys shot down it like greased pigs and landed hard on the floor. They didnt like it. We didnt feel it was safe. The slide was the main reason we chose this bunk bed and we decided as a family to take it off the bunk bed. The slide is what makes this bed so much more expensive than other bunk beds. It is little more than a sheet of board! We hung it on the wall for the boys to use as a dry erase board since we definitely couldnt take the bed down and return it at that point.
/The bottom bunk is not high enough for our 6 year old to sit up and read in bed comfortably.
/With the tree window box it is very difficult to change the sheets. They need to be washed every week to 2 weeks and with little kids, youll be up there in the middle of the night like a squirrel trying to change sheets after a bad nose bleed, accidents, stomach bugs muttering to yourself why you bought this bed.
/After 3 months we are accepting that it was a bad purchase and getting rid of it. Instead we are buying a matching Ethan Allen Walnut twin bed set with a nightstand off Facebook marketplace for 150.
Yall I would not recommend this set. It is way overpriced for the cheap not real wood it is made from. The design is a pain in the long run to change the sheets and the slide is too steep for young children to enjoy.
We paired the TOT with a FOT in a bunk room at the lake they look perfect. The kids love them! They take a bit of time to assemble and you definitely need two people or more (the kids helped too). The headboard footboard are the trickiest part.
Be sure to inspect the pieces to put the nicer side out, when applicable. One long side rail had a ding in it that couldnt be hidden but a couple others that are interchangeable were easy to rotate.
Some of the screw holes were stripped or not through at all. The directions were also a little difficult but over all I wouldnt have ordered any other.

Nice butneeds better mattress support
