I spent a lot of time shopping wooden bunk beds on before purchasing this particular one. I was primarily concerned about the composition of the wood and how real it would be. Im happy to say that it is indeed real wood and from what I could tell, not a single bit of it is anything less (particle, MDF, etc.)
It doesnt take that long to put together / just follow the instructions. I would strongly recommend using wood glue on the dowel pins when joining the legs to the head board slats (x4, steps 3 and 4). This will provide added strength to the bunk after it is fully assembled.
And I would definitely recommend getting some more wood for the mattress supports as the gaps between each is much to large in my opinion. I saw other buys mention this as well and it is a good idea for not only added mattress support, but strengthening as well.
Overall very very happy with this product!
For the price, I cant see how this can be beat. We put this together in about 2 hours with zero issues. The quality of their insteuctions is certainly enough to get the job done. A few pieces had dings but these bunk beds are for two boys, itll be painted camo in two years. After the wood acclimates I will re/tighten all the bolts for safety. Would definately buy again.
I am absolutely thrilled with this buy! For the price I am in shock of the quality! If you take it one step at a time and follow the directions its super easy to put together. I did it myself in less than 3 hours. I would recommend a second person to help put the top bunk on, but I managed to finagle it myself. I wont be doing somersaults on it myself or anything. But totally solid for my 4 and 9 year old sons. I would feel safe sleeping on this myself, but its not super thick solid wood all around. I appreciate how high the safely bars are since my 4 year old claimed to top bunk. Only downside: one guard rail was slightly longer on one side and bowed. I had to loosen the second guard rail a bit to even if our, but that honestly didnt make much of a difference to me. Still a good product in my eyes!
This is a very nice bunk bed set. Good quality and very sturdy. Everything fits together with no trouble and good hardware. The instructions are good and you should follow them exactly for ease of assembly. You will spend a lot more time and elbow grease if you use the enclosed allen wrench. We cut off the bend and used it in a drill to speed things up and save on wrist strain. There is no wole at all once assembled. Plenty of slats, so a mattress is supported without an extra board on top.

So Far, So Good
My fiancee and I purchased these beds for our sons for Christmas. They are fairly sturdy and are made of good quality materials.
Steardy construction
Bed is well made no complaints sturdy no side to side rocking. Would suggest ectra slats as kids do tend to jump around and they will break
Strudy
Very good quality wood. Sturdy.
Very pleased and impressed

Great quality and very sturdy
Built very sturdy and looks great. I had limited space for two teenage boys and this bunk bed works perfect.
Maximize quality/price ratio
