    Lots of small cosmetic damages

Lots of cosmetic damages but wasnt not worth the hassle to return/replace. I rather throw it out and get a new set of bunks from a furniture store.

Love the look of the gray sets.

Sometimes it was had to turn the allen wrench, didnt always stay in the hole. We used 2 sets to make a bedroom for the grandchildren. Now they have their own room and do not need to sleep on the floor.

Great bun bed for the price

This product did not come with instructions. So that was annoying. The ones on line used letters and the wood in the kit was marked with numbers, so that was real fun for my husband to figure out. He added some peg board on the bottom over the slats for extra support for the mattresses. There were also a few dings in the wood. But, not worth sending back. Overall, its a nice bunk bed and is sturdy. Our son loves it.

    Real wood frame, nice paint

For the price this a good bed. That being said, spend a little extra and make it a great bed. Throw away those wooden slats that hold the mattress up. The only thing they hold up is disappointment. Go to home depot and have them cut you a 3/4 sanded pine sheet of plywood to 38 5/8 74. You children will live longer. Also make sure you glue the joints together and use blue loctite on any of the screw cam fittings. they tend to back out after awhile and things get loose.

Strong, beautiful and perfect for kids!

We just built two of these beds for our Twin boys that just turned 4. I was pleased to find that you CAN install the ladder to either side of the bed depending on how your room is laid out. We ended up using both options for the ladder and install was a breeze for both options. I am a pretty big guy, 6ft 225lbs and have been in the beds with both my boys, 36lbs each and the bed feels as solid as a rock. There is no swaying or loose joints or anything. Very happy with how sturdy they are. We ordered 9 memory foam mattresses as well that are each 35lbs, so combined weve had over 330lbs in each bed without any issues. The color is exactly what is depicted on the photos and the loft is big enough for the boys to play and read under the bed. We even built and added a wall book shelf (not included) under the beds for their books. Would rate these 10 stars if that option was available and we HIGHLY recommend them!

Solid wood trundle is a great quality value!

This is really nice looking and actually made if real wood. The slats are unfinished pine and do not seem as strong as the rest of the frame. Fine for sleeping, if an 190 lb adult steps on it to get to the bed above it it seems like a slat could possibly break. If so Home depot or Lowes can cut a 1x2 board to replace a slat. Overall I am extremely pleased with the look and quality of this trundle. A twin mattress fits perfectly .
