The wood was green when we received it. I was going to stain it but I read on google poplar wood wasnt a good idea to stain so we ended up just painting it white. Took my mom like 3hrs to assemble by herself. Its really cute and sturdy i am enjoying it
Bought for my 4 yr old granddaughter who lives across the country from us. My son said that the directions were poorly written, but when finally together, the bed was solid and very well/built. The video of my granddaughter seeing her new bed was priceless! Love the Designs
Beautiful design. All measurements worked well and instructions were clear. The poplar wood is beautiful. I intended to paint or stain, but the natural finish was too nice. Our almost 3/year old loves it! Excellent value for what I paid
Looks exactly as pictured. Very sturdy. Directions were thorough and easy to put together. I would highly recommend 2 people though as the wood is hardwood and you will need someone to help hold pieces together while you operate the screw gun. Also buy the slats if your not planning on using a box spring. Please with this purchase
This is a really nice bed. Its easy enough to put together, you could do it with one person but with two makes it simple, just follow the instructions. The wood is sanded nice and smooth, we didnt paint or treat it. Its really sturdy! My daughter loves her first big girl bed! What a surprise
This bed is AMING! I had researched for months. There are others out there from cheap and flimsy looking to over a thousand dollars. My husband even said he would just build one. Then we found this. Great price, great wood, super sturdy, and exactly what we wanted. My 5 year old is so excited about her new bed. If you are a researcher like me, you wont be disappointed in this bed. It checks all the boxes. Highly recommend! it looks very nice.
Directions were a bit confusing because of the different styles of bed. I order the chimney and never receive it.However, Im happy with the overall result and my little one loves her new bed. Well built and sturdy
I love that this bed was made by a guy in Missouri instead of a factory in China. It is absolutely why I decided on this bed. I wish he would send the 6 drill bit with the frame or maybe send a separate email with a link because we totally missed that this was a special item that Lowes wouldnt even have. So the bummer was my kid was all excited we unpacked it, then picked up the instructions and didnt have the first think you need. So, assuming you are smarter than me, and actually read instructions first, this bed is aming. Its beautiful and sturdy. The directions are very easy to follow and we are not handy people. My son loves it now our daughter wants one. Looks atmospheric
