I dont recall ever being this excited for a piece of furniture! I looked everywhere for a sturdy, affordable bunk bed that could eventually be separated into two individual beds I have three boys 7, 3 and 1. I am so happy I found this bed, it matches the rest of their Ikea furniture and I love the studded ones, Scandinavian vibes. Wish the company made more matching furniture to this bed. Highly recommend! Very happy, worth recommending!
We got this bed a couple of weeks ago. Looks great. super sturdy. The ladder is a great angle. My husband put it together in a couple of hours! Good quality for a good price.
These beds are beautiful and sturdy. Just what we needed to redo our teenage daughters room. You definitely need 2 people to put them together and sometimes a third to hold things in place but the instructions are easy to follow. Do not hesitate to buy!
This bed is fantastic. I have little to no complaints. It is very sturdy and solid. Far more than what I expected to get for the money spent. There is no feeling for the need to anchor the bed as it is 500lbs assembled., with no swaying or creaking. It does not budge.
Two little complaints:
1. The slats the mattress(es) sit on do not feel like they will last. (i.e. they feel flimsy with an inevitable compromised durability). Of course, this can be remedied by replacing with appropriately cut plywood (if necessary).
2. Aesthetically, the curved portions that connect the beds side frame do not seamlessly align. The curve to the side frame portion has a slight lip on the top/bottom of the connecting parts. In the [] images of this bed, it is a perfect transition. No one will ever notice this. Its just mildly disappointing. Also, it DOES NOT impact the beds structural integrity.
Also note: The side rail/ladder portion of the upper bunk is non/reversible. It is exactly as displayed in the image. Plan your room space/purchase accordingly.
Still gets 5 star rating as its simply great. It fits nicely and is made well.
Love the look and sturdiness. However the bed is high from the floor (our toddler needs a stool step to get on and off bed). We love that these beds can be put as bunk beds or separated as 2 twin beds. Happy purchase.

Great Material and Build Quality
Frame is made of real wood versus MDF. Sturdy and stylish. Im very pleased and pleasantly surprised.
