I was lowkey afraid because of some of the other reviews about sturdiness and certain weights. Sadly, due to some unforeseen issues me and my sister are now rooming together, we both weigh 150. It seems to be holding up so far! Im not afraid of us being in these beds. And it doesnt shake as bad as some of the other reviews made it seem. But it does shake, just imagine that your sleeping with someone in a old bed, thats what its like. I only have one complaint and its that you cant flip the side that the stairs go on. Which really sucks, I feel like u should be able to flip which side the stairs go on. In addition, the stairs really do hurt your feet. We decided just to wear slippers going up and down it. Theres plenty of room for me to sit up on the bottom bunk and enough room to slide some thin storage containers under the bed. Overall, its perfect for the situation.
Edited to say that I did have to retighten the screws on ladder. I could hear them coming loose. But for kids it they may not know. I would check it every few weeks to be safe. Im very satisfied!
It was not super complicated to assemble but it is not sturdy. I wouldnt recommend anyone over 100lbs trying to climb up and sleep up top it wobbles when I tried and Im only 130lbs Good but not what I expected
It came as advertised, it was easy to assemble and turned out really well. I actually use it as a loft with my desk underneath. I still have the bottom rails and supports in case I want to make it into a bunk bed in the future. I would not recommend doing this as it makes it lest stable. When you are on top you have to move very deliberately to ensure the bed does not shake too much. Sturdiness is the only real complaint I have but at 200 I am by no means disappointed. My advice is to get the honey extension to track the price of the bedframe, the price fluctuates often and can be bought for around 200 pretty often. Very pleased with this purchase.
Definitely a 2 people job, it took about 2/3 hrs to assemble it. Its not sturdy at all. It wobbles with every move you make. Dont recommend this product.
