I love this coffee table! Its adorable and it was easy to put together, you cant beat it for the price. I love the extra hidden storage that it offers.
I was able to assemble this in about an hour, my only recommendation is when putting the top on and securing the hinges to the inside, place the table top on something that holds it the height to be secured and its easy to get into place, I used a 5 gallon bucket and a box. Works great and was able to tidy up my mess of controllers and games on my entertainment center! Easy to open and doesnt slam down and its sturdy!
I love this coffee table. It has a great look and is very durable. Assembly is well defined however there are 2 issues I had with the table top.
1) Installing the spring was very difficult. The spring is sent separately from the hinge/bracket and you need to stretch the spring to connect the two points. It would be helpful if these were already connected, or if one side was connected and locked in place. It poses a risk of snapping the spring back and causing damage to the product or the person assembling. Im also worried it will pop off in the future because nothing is locking the spring in place other than its own strength.
2) Its been noted a few times, but screwing the top to the base is not easy. I was able to complete this alone with a few pillows to prop up the top and some luck with the screw placement, but it is in no way ideal. Id strongly suggest having someone to help for this portion at the very least.
Overall a very good product that I love, but a lot of frustration to get to that point.
It wasnt abundantly clear that assembly is required with this table. That said, it arrived well/packed and damge/free. You really only need a good Phillips screwdriver to put this together, but a screwgun is very helpful. The instructions werent the best, but passable. Id say assembly difficulty is on par with ikea furniture, maybe just a tiny bit harder since there are springs involved. Overall I like the table and recommended it if you are handy enough to put it together.
Very easy to assemble all you would need is a Phillips head screw driver takes about a hour built quality it good but the lifting top is a weird to open and close not smooth too strong and aggressive
